All in all this is a lovely well equipped flat in a great location at a very reasonable price. However it is looking very tired and really could do with some TLC , two of the double sockets in the living room weren’t fit for use , a hole in plasterboard at first one and the other hanging off , if you had kids it would be a REAL safety issue , a chair had been stuck in front of one of them , but honestly it could be a quick fix . The bathroom tiles were pretty mouldy along the edges , where new silicone could easily be applied . Just little things but first impressions were a little lacking . A little lick of paint , and a few repair jobs and this could be a 10/10 for sure for which you could charge a little more too

“Nice !”

We enjoyed the apartment it was clean and warm . Good location , I had emailed the website advising we had flight problems, never heard back. Just a suggestion a few occasional tables would be handy for putting cup of tea on etc . Milk was left in fridge which was nice touch .

The Marischal Appartments are at the end of Union Street, a few minutes walk from Union Street and the harbour. There is easy access to good pubs, a BrewDog, restaurants and shopping, and only a twelve minute walk (uphill, mind) from the train station. We were in a flat on the second floor, so nice and quiet - but there's no lift (if stairs are a concern, request ground floor). The flat itself was spacious and clean; nothing fancy, but it covered our basic needs and there was plenty of hot water and a well-equipped kitchenette for breakfast. The bed was a bit past its sell-by date, but not the worst surface I've ever slept on (that was a train platform). Based on the location, facilities and cost it was strong value in a vibrant part of a very cool city.

This apartment did not live up to our expectations which were based on the reviews. It was clean enough but felt shabby and rundown with scuffed walls, damaged fridge, door under sink falling off and toilet roll holder not secure. This apartment did not live up to our expectations which were based on the reviews. It was clean enough but felt shabby and rundown with scuffed walls, damaged fridge, door under sink falling off and toilet roll holder not secure. The kitchen was poorly equipped with only 3 place settings of cheap crockery and cutlery. Other than providing check in details there was no communication from the owners/managers during our stay or since. There were no special touches or anything to make this apartment feel homely or comfortable.
