Excellent guest house to stay The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is of the highest quality and taste and will serve Breakfast at 7.30 if your getting an early start. Very clean and comfortable and in the deep winter its kept very warm A bonus for walkers, especially,is the drying room for your kit after a long wet, windy and snow day on the.mountains. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Me and my husband have just had a brilliant stay here for a skiing trip. Staff were so friendly and informative. Lovely room and facilities - they provide a proper hairdryer and there is also a drying room to put wet ski / hiking gear in. Breakfast was lovely and they were also very accommodating with us as we had to be on the mountain by 0830 on Saturday morning, so made our breakfast earlier than usual so we could get away on time. Guesthouse is also in a great location and walking distance to everything. Would definitely book again and already recommended to my parents as they are wanting to visit in the summer.

We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse in Aviemore. The surrounding area is beautiful, with stunning nature, great walking opportunities, and a very relaxed atmosphere. Everything at the guesthouse was excellent — clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Mark and his team were absolutely fantastic: welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help. We felt very comfortable and well looked after throughout our stay and would happily return.

Location: A flat / level five to ten minute walk from the railway station, or about £6 in a taxi. Easy access to numerous shops, bars, & restaurants meant we could enjoy the local surroundings without the need to drive everywhere. 20-minute drive away from the Cairngorms ski resort, or about £5.50ea return on the Stagecoach number 30 bus (running from outside the railway station). So, to the guest house itself... The check-in was friendly, informative, and quick. Our room (5) was on the first floor with a really nice view of the mountains. It was lovely & toasty for our arrival 😀 which was great as it was sub-zero outside. The beds were really comfy, as were the pillows / cushions, & the bedding was immaculately clean. Plenty of wardrobe, hanging, drawer space, and a wall mounted TV. Complimentary tea & biscuits, and getting extra tea, sugar, milk, etc. was not a problem (as we found out being certified tea monsters 🤣). The bathroom was immaculate too, with an illuminated mirror, shaving point, toilet, sink, heated towel rail, lovely fresh towels, large shower cubicle, & great shower. Locally sourced shampoos, bodywash, and hand soaps are also provided. There is a hairdryer provided in the main room itself. There is a drying room located on the ground floor, & even a washer (£5 per load, which is very reasonable). There is a guest lounge, with comfortable sofas, tables, chairs, reading materials, radio, etc. They really have thought of everything, even down to wine glasses, corkscrews, bottle openers, and a communal fridge (which is like new inside) available to use when you need. Everything is pristine and kept on top of. There is 24/7 access for guests via a key and key code system, which allows you to come and go as you please. Everyone was respectful, and there was no noise from other guests entering/ leaving or in the building itself. The included breakfast was absolutely amazing & cooked to perfection every single day. There was also tea, toast, fruit & yoghurt, fresh orange & apple juice. It's served between 8am & 9am and cooked freshly for you (not just a big pile of stuff that's cooked, dumped on a tray, & left for an hour). This truly sets you up with a great start to your day. I've saved the most important part until last, and that is THE STAFF! They are absolutely wonderful. Nothing was too much bother! They were chatty, helpful, genuine, and worked well as a team. Mark (the owner) provided some very useful information even before we travelled (as a storm front nearly prevented our arrival at all). He was always busy looking after guests & the property and clearly strives for (and achieves) the highest standards in everything he does. The result is this great guest house, which we will happily return to next time we're in Aviemore & highly recommend!
