⭐ TripAdvisor‑Style Review (Professional & Traveller‑Focused) The High Range Hotel is an excellent accommodation choice when visiting the north of Scotland. The hotel maintains exceptionally high standards of cleanliness throughout, and the rooms are serviced daily to an impressive level. The staff were consistently professional, friendly, and willing to assist with any request. Their positive attitude contributed greatly to the overall experience. Despite its position on the main road into town, the hotel remained very quiet, with no noticeable noise from traffic or other guests. This made for a peaceful and comfortable stay. Overall, the High Range Hotel delivers outstanding value, high‑quality service, and a reliably pleasant environment.

“Amazing place, friendly staff and always clean and fresh”

Staff are very friendly and helpful in many ways. Cleaning staff always done an amazing job, not that our room was messy lol. Will definitely need to come back again.

Without fail this accommodation delivers to and time again. Very reasonably priced, immaculately clean, spacious and warm. The shower is fantastic- powerful and hot. Comfortable bed. It’s always our number 1 choice when staying in aviemore. Highly recommend

Aviemore Resort Highland Hotel: Agree with the reviews that say not 4 star. Maybe 3 at best. The resort feels run down, outdated and uncared for. Aviemore Resort Highland Hotel: Agree with the reviews that say not 4 star. Maybe 3 at best. The resort feels run down, outdated and uncared for. Staff were pleasant and welcoming and appear to be trying, but it would be good if the large multinational who own these hotels could also try harder. Grounds are vast but disappointingly underutilised. There could be so much more in this "resort", and I do think this title is complete oversell. The number of hotels is misleading and, on arrival, it was difficult to know where to go- poor signage. There appears to be lovely walks around the hotels, but these are poorly signposted and the lack of lighting make them unusable after dark- such a waste of a beautiful area. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was average bar food, meaning that it appeared slightly overpriced. Rooms are comfortable but definitely dated. The carpet was slightly torn in places and, although relatively clean, the rooms need some TLC, and a definite upgrade, if they want to claim 4 star status. Access to the rooms felt dingy and unsafe. You don't access through the hotel reception but through a poorly signposted fire escape. Key card access isn't needed as the door is open at all times, meaning that anyone could enter the bedroom area of the hotel. The corridors feel cold, empty and dingy. I would not have accepted a room on the ground floor as this would feel very unsafe. Breakfast was a decent buffet with pleasant and attentive staff. Overall disappointing and would be unlikely to return at current prices with standard of hotel.
