“Super hotel - ideal base for golf in the area”
We were a party of 12 who stayed at the Carlton for our golf trip. The hotel is ideally located to access courses in Troon, Ayr and Prestwick which meant journey times of less than 20 minutes for us. “Wedding Day”
We held our marriage ceremony, wedding dinner and evening reception at The Carlton Hotel on Friday 27th March. The service throughout was faultless and nothing was to much trouble for the staff and all of our guests commented on the quality of food which was superb. A special mention to our wedding… more

“Excellent afternoon tea.”
Enjoyed a Prosecco afternoon tea this week. Food excellent. Staff were very good. Generous large pot of tea which they refilled at no extra cost. Would highly recommend.

“carlton prestwick”
stayed at carlton for few years but found this time food not so good staff lovely and interiors nice but won't put me off as go between there and riverside
