Staffs are welcoming and accommodating. Room was so clean and comfortable. Breakfast foods are excellent.

We had a wonderful stay here with a calm atmosphere. Sahil and Mariz were incredibly helpful, and the breakfast was absolutely scrumptious. All the team members were amazing, and Sreelakshmi, who served us, was very warm and friendly. We would love to come back again.

Really lovely hotel - it's out of the way but you can get the bus into the city centre every 10 mins so it's perfect. When you first walk in the hotel smells lovely, it's a relaxed and chilled vibe and really sets the scene for a nice stay. The front desk were very helpful and our room was outstanding. Huge bed and we had a little sofa as well. We unfortunately did stay at the same time as a festival going on, so other guests were quite loud, but that didn't impact our sleep quality and we slept well. However, I did ask for some ear plugs as i'm a light sleeper and the hotel don't stock them (which is a bit poor for an expensive hotel). The bar area is quaint but nice, with a lovely outside seating area. The bathroom was nice albeit very small. The shower had a handle right next to the taps which meant the shower itself was very cramped - if I wasn't a small woman this would've been a problem, and my partner was constantly banging their elbow on this rail. If you are a wider man or tall, I don't think these showers would work for you. We were treated to an espresso machine in our room which was gorgeous - the only down side was that our teas and coffee's weren't updated / refreshed. The breakfast was 10/10 - worth coming just for that. The variety was outstanding and had a pancake machine. The water fountain was a really nice touch- it makes a difference having cold water and not having to refill from your bathroom. The only real downfall is how extortionate the food pricing was - almost £20 for every main. We decided we would not be eating at the hotel and we recommend guests go over to the casino which has some amazing food at a great price or the Italian (Napole Pizzeria) down the road which was exceptional. Overall, I would definitely stay here again!

We visited on a promotional deal including breakfast, prosecco, and leisure access. While the value for money was excellent on this specific offer, the room condition means I wouldn’t recommend paying the full standard rate until maintenance issues are addressed. The Highlights The Breakfast: The best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had. My husband loved the haggis, and as a vegetarian, I was impressed by the high-quality options, including free-range eggs and proper veggie sausages. Facilities & Staff: The leisure facilities and reception team were great. We also appreciated the water and ice stations. Parking: We entered our registration at reception and weren't charged the advertised £8 fee. Perhaps the fee is for people outwith hotel. The Room (Room 306) This is where the experience dipped. The room is dated and desperately needs a makeover, particularly the bathroom. Maintenance Issues: We had no hot water for the duration of our stay. A cold shower in the morning was a real let-down. The fridge was also not cold, and the bedside phone was so old the cord snapped upon lifting it. Service Lag: Our prosecco wasn't in the room on arrival. It took several calls and a physical trip to reception to get it delivered 40 minutes later. Verdict The staff acknowledged the boiler issues upon checkout, so hopefully, a fix is imminent. I’d return if I got the same great deal and a guarantee of a hot shower, but would not pay full price unless there was a bathroom makeover. Summary: 5 stars for breakfast, facilities and staff; 1 star for the room itself.
