The one thing that let this Hotel down was our family room with two small double beds . You would need to be very slim to fit a couple into these beds. There were four of us to fit into these two beds.. A request for a room where four people could fit comfortably into the beds was met with being told to pay extra for an extra room. THe mattress was also hard. A duvet was obtained to put on top of the hard mattress for ane of the beds. There was a very noisy group of ladies in the next room but a complaint to Reception sorted this out. Food was excellent as was the location of the Hotel. Buses stopped outside for the Centre and the Zoo was nearby.

We have just returned from a fantastic stay. The hotel foyer, bar, restaurant and cafe area are exceptional- a large open plan area, with great views, plenty of comfortable seating and modern decor. This was a great area for eating breakfast, grabbing a coffee before outings, and passing a bit of time when the weather turned wet. There was even a pool table and childs colouring/craft area- which was loved by my son and daughter. The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly and there were always plenty of staff around to speak to. We used the pool area twice and enjoyed this. The location next to the zoo is great. There are plenty of busses heading into the city or the other way towards the airport, although this did become a bit expensive after a couple of days. Our room was fine, plenty big enough for 4 of us, although on one day our mugs, teas etc were not changed because the beds have clothes on. We rang down and clean mugs, tea bags and milk were bought up immediately. The bathroom was a little bit dated, with a few marks in the tub, and our bed sheet had a small black mark on it. All in all, the size and layout of the bar/restaurant area is a massive plus and we actually really liked the location being just outside the city centre as we saw plenty of sights from our bus, so we would 100% choose to stay here again. “Good but could be better”

I stayed for 2 nights and the problems that I encountered were. no wifi at all even tho we had paid for it, tv would not connect we did have someone come up to the room but he did not know what to do. also another problem I had was the heating was not working at all we had to keep the windows close… more

I stayed for 2 nights and the problems that I encountered were. no wifi at all even tho we had paid for it, tv would not connect we did have someone come up to the room but he did not know what to do. also another problem I had was the heating was not working at all we had to keep the windows closed but the condensation was unreal but over all a good place to stay and very close to the city.
