“Beautiful Old Hotel with super friendly staff”
I can't understand where the negative reviews for this hotel are coming from. My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights and have not got one single complaint. The staff are all very helpful and friendly, carrying up my wheelchair from street level to reception every day and refilling our water bot… more

“Best rooms with views”
The location was perfect. Easy walk to Royal Mile and restaurants around Saint Andrews Square. Although there are some steps, someone at the hotel will assist you with luggage. The breakfast is good and the room with the castle view is awesome. Everyone is very helpful.

We had a two night stay in a junior suite so disappointed the room was an odd shape only had one tiny window that would not stay open ( no air con ) had to prop it up !
