Top floor 3 bed all en-suite and an extra bathroom, very spacious rooms, although it was dull and wet outside we opened all the blinds to see the balcony and beyond and the apartment became very bright.

The apartment was clean, spacious, and much more comfortable than a standard hotel room. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were very helpful. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a 'home away from home' feel!

“Midweek Xmas shopping/drinks getaway”

Booked 3 nights with my partner, and the apartment was really good, good price for 3 nights, altho did go Tuesday to Friday. Spacious and had good amenities. Staff were also friendly and kept our bags for us when checked out as had a wait before travelling home.

Location The location is the absolute standout feature of this property. Situated in the heart of the Merchant City, you are surrounded by Glasgow’s best dining and nightlife. For a traveller, it’s incredibly convenient; you are a short walk from both Glasgow Central and Queen Street stations, and the airport express bus stops almost at the doorstep. Whether you’re exploring the city or heading further afield, you couldn’t ask for a better base. Atmosphere The atmosphere of the apartment itself was a bit strange. While modern, the layout felt bizarre—almost like it had been repurposed in a hurry. There was one room that seemed completely off-limits and locked, which gave the whole place a slightly "off" and inconsistent vibe. It lacked the cohesive, welcoming feel of other apartment hotels I’ve stayed in. Rooms On paper, the space is fantastic at 55m². It’s a large One-Bedroom Apartment with plenty of room to spread out. However, the execution was lacking. The biggest frustration was the bed; it hadn't been made properly, meaning the sheets kept pinging off the corners throughout the night. It’s a basic comfort requirement that really should be a given at this level. Value At £154 per night, the value is a bit of a mixed bag. In the context of a 5-week European trip, it felt like a bargain compared to the 4,500 DKK (~£500) I spent for a cramped stay in Copenhagen. However, compared to the €227 (~£190) I paid in Hamburg for a 44m² apartment with "superb" service and high-end finishes, Glasgow felt like poor value for the actual quality of the experience. You get the space, but you lose the polish. Cleanliness The apartment appeared clean and modern at first glance. However, the issue with the poorly fitted bed sheets makes me wonder about the attention to detail during the turnover. Aside from the bedding struggle, the kitchen and bathroom areas were well-maintained. Noise Level This was a significant drawback. Being in such a central, vibrant location means you have to deal with the sounds of the city. It was notoriously noisy at night, and because the bed wasn’t comfortable, every sound from the street seemed amplified. If you are a light sleeper, you might find this location challenging. Service The service was functional but distant. Check-in was seamless and the digital/lockbox system worked well. However, when things got complicated—like the tech in the room—there was no one there to help. It’s a very "hands-off" style of hospitality. Amenities The apartment is well-equipped with a full kitchen, dishwasher, and washing machine. While having a washer is a huge plus, this particular machine was a nightmare. It was so unintuitive that I actually had to consult an AI assistant just to figure out how to start a basic cycle! It’s great to have the tools, but not when they require a manual and a degree in computer science to operate.
