“Friendly and welcoming”
We loved our stay here! We were meant to drive to the isle of Skye, but we had spent a lot of the day hiking around Glen Coe and it was getting dark and late and it was quite rainy and stormy. The roads were not the best, so we decided it would be safer to try and find a place to stay for the night… more

“Guest comfort at a max”
Immediately warm and welcoming, the public areas as well as the rooms are planned in great detail with the comfort of the guest in mind. Quiet, spotless, cosy with great staff.

“Great pit stop en route to Skye”
Really lovely stay for a night en route to Skye. Part of Black Sheep chain. Upgraded to lovely room, very friendly helpful staff, very nice decor. Emily’s Byer restaurant had lovely Indian food- Scottish options also available; thought the food was a tad expensive though. Would recommend.

Five stars. Can’t say much more. Nothing to complain about. Room (junior suite), staff, food all great. Good selection of decent whiskies too.

“Nice Hotel, overpriced F&B”
Rokeby Manor is a pleasant enough hotel, the room was clean and well presented, and staff were courteous. We paid £115 for a double, which according to the booking site, was a circa 50% discount, so expectations were high. We arrived after dark and perhaps like most guests, had no desire to go off … more
