Another fantastic stay at Bunchrew, excellent service and outstanding food,

Besides the beautiful location and an air of gentle country house relaxed elegance, was a roaring fire, comfortable seating, attentive, pleasant service and a wonderful afternoon tea. I have a "thing" for afternoon tea and sampled many around the UK. I have rightly or wrongly my idea of perfection. Sandwiches, savory item, scones and delicate "mouthful" cakes and hot beverage. For the first time ever I could not fault anything. Traditional finger sandwiches, fresh, no turned up edges here. A warm black pudding mix sausage roll, warm and crispy, absolute "yum" experience. Scones, warm and choice of plain or fruit, jam and fresh cream.......beautifully fresh and no previously frozen lumps of cold tastless dough....yes those turn up but not here. FINALLY the best and most beautiful selection of 8 little cakes "each", bursting with flavour and miniatures of bigger favourites. Whoever the pastry chef is in this establishment has a real talent. No crispy cakes and big chunks of fruit cake or even a slice of seen better days carrot cake, rather a feast of flavours and a feast for the eyes! So thank you Bunchrew House Hotel, you have restored my faith in ever having my faultless, dream afternoon tea! Only problem is, I forgot to take a photo, so only way to resolve that is to go back and have another afternoon tea!!

“Holiday with my family”

The hotel is perfection! It is in the perfect location and the staff is top. Was a lovely stay in a very nice hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the facilities were excellent. Breakfast was excellent! Reception were very helpful and pleasant.

We stayed at the Bunchrew House Hotel for New Year and honestly cannot praise the team enough. The staff were absolutely amazing – sincere, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. The level of service was as high as it possibly could be, and nothing was ever too much trouble. They created such a warm and inclusive atmosphere that guests from many different countries came together and enjoyed a wonderful New Year’s Eve celebration that went on into the early hours. It truly felt like a unique and special occasion, and one we will never forget. Although we can’t remember all the individual names due to the day and evening shifts, every single member of staff was wonderful – smiling, helpful, and incredibly accommodating. We asked a lot, and they supported and helped us with every request without hesitation. The breakfast and bar service were excellent, and the New Year’s Eve supper was outstanding. The chef and their team were first class, as was the management team who clearly lead from the front. Unfortunately, we never got the chance to say thank you properly individually when we left, as the snow arrived and we needed to head quickly to the airport (via Loch Ness of course!). So please accept this as a huge thank you from your Surrey, England Friends. We wish you and your incredible team a very happy New Year, and we will most definitely be coming back to see you again in the future.
