“Havelock Hotel review”

We stayed here for three nights. Hotel is very clean. Room was clean and spacious. Staff were super friendly. Breakfast was really nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Due to the nature of our work we can only have our Xmas night out after Xmas. The Havelock house hotel were happy to oblige us with the full festive menu provided we ordered in advance. On the night the staff were friendly and efficient making sure we all were served quickly. The food was really lovely. Drinks service was fast and efficient. There were plenty of other people in the bar to make a nice atmosphere, despite it being the 3rd of January! We really appreciated the effort to serve us out side of typical festive times. 10/10 thanks to all .

“Great Hogmanay fun and so much more.........!”

We went to the Havelock Hogmanay party as a group of six friends. The five course dinner was excellent, service was fantastic, band were superb and the stovies and bubbly at the Bells was just lovely - extra shout out to Morag who even arranged some veggie stovies for two of our group - above and beyond! Our evening was great value for money, as well being such a lovely way to bring in the New Year. Well done Gordie, Morag and Havelock team - we hope you do it again next year and would love to join you again!! We are regulars at the Havelock all year round. The bands Gordie and Morag book all year round are great, of wide and varied genres - a real pull for the group of total "musos" we are , the new band venue and restaurant is excellent and such an excellent venue for our wee town! 👏👏👏👏👏

“Great value, location. Comfortable, warm and clean”

On arrival I was welcomed at the bar downstairs and shown to the room which was very spacious and comfortable and most of all, given the temperature and snow, warm. On arrival I was welcomed at the bar downstairs and shown to the room which was very spacious and comfortable and most of all, given the temperature and snow, warm. The bathroom was very spacious and heated well and both rooms spotlessly clean. Very well equipped with tea and coffee Iron and ironing board if needed. The bed was very comfortable and I had a very good night's sleep. The breakfast was good with cereal and fruit juice toast and a Scottish breakfast. ( Maybe sliced haggis instead of black pudding and sliced sausage to make it more authentic) Which was delicious and well cooked. Great value and would highly recommend. And I stay away for work a lot. Will be back.
