Description
A Victorian Hotel built in 1865 and 1901 of Scottish granite and sandstone. It stands as a landmark on the North Pier overlooking the town of Oban and Oban Bay to the Isles of Kerrera, Mull and Lismore and the Mountains of Morven. Most of the rooms have seaviews; those remaining have views of the wooded hillside. All rooms are bright and airy; this is enhanced by the decor.

“Classic Scottish Hotel experience”
Stayed room 304. Great room, with bath and views, sunset is spectacular. Breakfast 9/10. Organised, delicious quality. Evening meal in Bar Rio: 3 courses, all thoroughly well prepared, good quality. Can voucher for Seabass, Steak, Sticky toffee puddings!

“Great hotel”
Great stay with a great view ( room 216) from our room. It looks like some work has been done to the hotel as the carpets look new and the room was fresh and looked newly renovated. “Not a band hotel”
We were at this hotel for 3 day the hotel was clean and cosy and the staff were all right but the only concern we have was the bed to be honest we would have had a better sleep on the floor as the mattress was solid not all guest like a hard mattress my back is in agony that’s the only fault I foun… more
