I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at the Mercure in Perth. As an All Accor member, I don’t typically frequent Mercure properties, but we chose this location for its convenience. The staff were exceptionally friendly, courteous, helpful, and highly professional. While the property itself is older, the team more than makes up for it. The bar selection and food were also outstanding. The buffet breakfast is better than most Marriott property offerings, and the staff there were more than attentive, helpful, and friendly. I received truly five-star service from Chloe, Steph, and the night manager (I apologize for forgetting his name, I believe it was Callum?). All Accor should recognize these three employees as exemplary for their exceptional, attentive, and flawless service and should be the shining standard across all properties. Well done!

“2nd time visiting.”

Just back from staying here for a 2nd time. We find the rooms fine- have stayed in 2 different rooms and preferred the previous room. This time we stayed in room 136. Comfy bed and I like that there is a choice of firmer and softer pillows as most hotels just give a soft pillow which I hate. Show… more

Just back from staying here for a 2nd time. We find the rooms fine- have stayed in 2 different rooms and preferred the previous room. This time we stayed in room 136. Comfy bed and I like that there is a choice of firmer and softer pillows as most hotels just give a soft pillow which I hate. Shower didn’t have that much pressure but done the job. I wouldn’t ask to stay in this room again due to the location as it faces the carpark and is near the hotel entrance. This meant that anyone that headed outside and was talking could be heard which was a pain at 0:40 and 1:20am when trying to sleep but this isn’t a fault of the hotel and simply the behaviour of guests. We didn’t have a meal this time but from previous experience the meals were fine. Had drinks in the bar and desserts. Staff nice and friendly as always. Diana at the bar (or maybe the name was Diane?) was lovely again as was last time. Shame she is leaving as she’s a great asset. Other staff we interacted with were nice too. I’d stay again but would probably look to ask for a room at the back instead. Worth a try if you are in the area as good location to get to shops, museum and other bars and restaurants too.

“Decent hotel”

Firstly this review is 100% genuine. Have stayed here recently ,reception staff were excellent. Room was good and comfortable. Breakfast was a big let down unfortunately. Bacon undercooked,sausages undercooked,mushrooms watery and didn't seem fresh. Overall the food was only warm at best and plates… more

Firstly this review is 100% genuine. Have stayed here recently ,reception staff were excellent. Room was good and comfortable. Breakfast was a big let down unfortunately. Bacon undercooked,sausages undercooked,mushrooms watery and didn't seem fresh. Overall the food was only warm at best and plates were not heated. You dont deserve this and I really hope this is rectified and wish you all success.
