“Lovely break in Perth”

Had a lovely stay, the staff throughout the holiday couldn’t have been more pleasant and accommodating. Just a slight hiccup, the lift wasn’t working. I would definitely stay again

I booked the hotel as a belated gift for Valentines Day. I was told categorically that my dairy allergy and husband's Coeliac would be catered for during our DB&B overnight stay. Unfortunately this was not the case. I spent much time late afternoon ordering food from the bar menu as the three course menu was not suitable for us. We had to select from the bar menu. Molly from the Reid Bar was so incredibly busy when we arrived later for our meal. I have never seen a staff member anywhere, cope so admirably by herself! Reinforcements eventually arrived. I hope Strathmore give you recognition of your fantastic customer skills Molly. My meal was not great. However, Gordon the manager was terribly apologetic and made amends. Another great asset to the Strathmore brand. Michael, was incredibly helpful at breakfast time checking all the allergens which is a slow process.and time consuming for staff and guests. Strathmore hotels you need to do a variety of things here; 1. Have your buffet breakfast items labelled highlighting allergens. This is not difficult. 2. Offer more Dairy Free options. This is not difficult either. 3. On your menu, increase the size of print mentioning allergens on the main menu to a size and colour of print that the majority of your customers can read! A final mention to the lovely Morag from the cleaning team who we met on our arrival who was incredibly friendly and helped us as we navigated the corridors. The hotel absolutely sparkled too. Well done to the cleaning team. I would appreciate feedback from senior management from the Strathmore group as to your plan to take my recommendations forward. I look forward to your response before I book another stay at one of your hotels. Kind regards
