Four of us stayed at the Acarsaid recently for the weekend and had a fantastic time. A couple of us had stayed before and what brought us back to the hotel was Big Karen, the manager. She is an absolute gem and always goes the extra mile. As well as that, she makes us laugh constantly with her banter. The hotel is in an excellent location and easy to get to all the sights, bars and restaurants in Pitlochry. Hope to be back again soon. Thanks Big Karen! You are the best!

Spent the night here last night. Absolutely brilliant time. Big Karen had us in hysterics the whole time. I can’t imagine the hotel without her in it. She is a very special lady and making sure you have a good time and everything you need is her number one priority. Her pancakes were so fluffy and tasty. Can’t say enough good things about her. Will be back for sure.

“Excellent Hotel very friendly and professional staff”

The owner, Richard , Manager, Karen and all staff were very good with us at the time and acted very professional during our stay with them. We sa… more

We had booked into the Acarsaid June 2025. Unfortunately we had a bereavement while there and didn't get to see any of Pitlochry or the surrounding area. The owner, Richard , Manager, Karen and all staff were very good with us at the time and acted very professional during our stay with them. We said we would come back the following year, which we did and we booked in for7th and 8th May 2026. When we arrived, Thamas, was there to greet us and showed us to our room. The room was very comfortable with a nice outlook. There was everything we required for our stay. We had booked a superior room which had all toiletries needed, bath robes, slippers , coffee machine, tea, making facilities, and water. The room was very clean, as was the rest of the hotel. That evening before going out to eat, we went down to the bar. By this time the owner Richard was on duty and greeted us by asking how we were, He had remembered us from the previous year and hoped our stay, would be more memorable, for the right reason while we were staying with them. At breakfast there was a variable menu to suit all tastes, and was cooked to perfection. We managed to see Pitlochry and surrounding area which is a beautiful place to visit. During our stay, this time, again Richard, Karen, Thomas and staff, were both professional and equally as friendly as before. I cannot praiseThe Acarsaid and staff, highly enough and would thoroughly recommend this hotel

“Pleasant hotel, good room, well located.”

Another excellent stay at the welcoming Arcarsaid Guest House. Clean and friendly with comprehensive facilities in en suite bedroom. Conveniently located at the end of Atholl Rd within walking distance of town centre. Good value for money and a well stocked bar!
