“Great Value For Your Money”
I stayed at the Royal Thurso Hotel in October 2025 and March 2026. On both occasions the staff were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The room - well it's very basic, but you get a clean bed and hot water and the washing facilities are fine. Also a tv and tea & coffee making facilities. T… more

A grand old lady with evidence of past neglect. Currently showing signs that efforts are being made to address this. Public spaces have some nice period details. “Great hotel but shame about the smell”
It was a perfectly nice hotel, reasonably priced, with a good breakfast however walking into our room was like walking into a wall of cigarette smoke. Everything was lovely apart from the smell
