It's funny: they have a small parking lot in the court, and there is an entrance to a hotel. To our surprise, you arrive at the competitor who does not run the parking lot. The welcome at our hotel was nice. We were invited for a welcome drink. When I left early in the morning, and it was ice-cold outside, they were so kind and gave me a cup of tea, even though the breakfast service was still closed. The breakfast was fine, with the same "supermarket"- like display as in many other Moxy hotels in Central Europe.

“Convenience Is Its Best Asset”

Expensive budget hotel; no front desk (check in with bar/restaurant personnel); no recognition or perks for platinum elite members; room rather small (170 sq. ft), no closet, no dresser, tiny bathroom; only one elevator working for 7 floors; common areas needed a deep clean; breakfast not included.… more

Expensive budget hotel; no front desk (check in with bar/restaurant personnel); no recognition or perks for platinum elite members; room rather small (170 sq. ft), no closet, no dresser, tiny bathroom; only one elevator working for 7 floors; common areas needed a deep clean; breakfast not included. BUT hotel very convenient to cruise ship terminal! till need a taxi or Uber to get to terminal!

“Disappointing”

We booked a family room for two nights and unfortunately it was a very disappointing stay. Despite booking a standard family room, we were allocated an accessible room without being asked if this was suitable. The room had several maintenance issues. The bed had lights underneath that kept coming on throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep. The bathroom extractor fan wasn’t working, so the room became soaking wet after showers and developed a horrible smell. The room layout was also very impractical. The only mirror was by the entrance with no nearby plug socket, while the only working plug for styling hair was by the coffee machine where there was no mirror. To make matters worse, the sockets on either side of the living area window didn’t work, meaning the lamp couldn’t be used and our children had to argue over the one working socket. Housekeeping never serviced our room despite us putting the sign out. When we went looking for fresh towels and toilet roll, we mentioned all of the issues we’d experienced but our concerns were simply shrugged off, which was very disappointing. On a positive note, the bar area was lovely, and the hotel’s location was excellent, especially for anyone heading off on a cruise. Unfortunately, the main purpose of staying in a hotel is to get a good night’s sleep in a comfortable, well-maintained room, and in our case, that simply didn’t happen. The bed was very small and uncomfortable, and after two poor nights’ sleep we were exhausted by the time we boarded our cruise. It’s a shame because the hotel has potential thanks to its location and facilities, but our overall experience was let down by the condition of the room and the lack of response when we raised our concerns.
