“Excellent on all counts, will stay here whenever I visit Aberystwyth”

I chose this on the basis of it (a) having a car park and (b) allowing me to keep my cycle inside, two things a lot of hotels in Aberystwyth seem to offer one of, but not both. I chose this on the basis of it (a) having a car park and (b) allowing me to keep my cycle inside, two things a lot of hotels in Aberystwyth seem to offer one of, but not both. But, it’s been great in every other respect as well. All the little things are just … right. Smart tv. Good restaurant service and food. Pleasant decor and nice restaurant/bar area. McDonald’s across the way for when you’re going out too early for the breakfast (although their breakfast is great, and freshly cooked rather than buffet, when you’re not). Retail park and Morrisons nearby for any convenience/essential items you may have forgot. Definitely puts other hotels in the shade - showing it can be done right.

“A safe, clean and reliable place to stay...”

A lovely clean and pleasant atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. Great location and parking. The rooms were clean, with a great shower and amenities. If you want a safe and enjoyable, hassle-free stay in Aberystwyth, this hotel comes highly recommended.

This hotel stands out from the crowd, but there was one very special experience in the restaurant which is why I'm writing here now. My father had given me the wrong information about breakfast times, so I had been out for a run and missed the cut-off. The staff in the restaurant, especially one lady, took sympathy and after checking with the chef, I was provided with a freshly cooked breakfast and a hot drink. My Mum was with me, even though she had already been for breakfast earlier, and they still served her with a free hot drink. These days businesses are not normally willing to go the extra mile, but at Aberystwyth Park Lodge we experienced the human touch and it left us all feeling so happy. From now on, every time we visit my daughter in Aberystwyth, we will be staying at Aberystwyth Park Lodge Hotel. Well Done and Thank You to you all!

“to loud for us, hoped for a decent night s sleep but not on this occasion”

we were in room 1 next to reception, seemed like we could hear music all eve and the door cinstantly closing, at 2:50 am was awoken by some male guests shouting, then 2 females shouting 20 mins later (they were in the room opposite and the men above us) 2 calls and at 04:20am the party above us that kept us all awake including our 11 year old daughter we finally had some peace. Surely this could of been nipped in the bud as they would of been loud enough to know where it was, shame but for a new hotel the noise was too much and needs to have better acoustic surpression. shame as the hotel looks lovely and is modern and clean.
