Stayed for one night in room 232. Room directions weren't clear just easier to walk along first floor to the end and up the stairs to the room. Stayed for one night in room 232. Room directions weren't clear just easier to walk along first floor to the end and up the stairs to the room. Room was tiny, could benefit with an update however the annoying generator outside kept me awake all night. Staff were brilliant couldn't do enough and the food was well cooked,tasty and hot.

“Disappointing”

On arrival 11/03/2026 there was a sign on reception stating steam room/Sauna not in use, there was no prior notification of this and as the hotel is advertised as Hotel & Spa not all of the facilities advertised were available and no discount was offered. We booked direct with the hotel and received complimentary breakfast which was quite unappetising, cold plates, luke warm bacon egg sausage, disgustingly dirty sauce bottles, no bread in bread basket, sticky honey bottles, miserable looking staff all served in a large almost empty ballroom with contractors working on the building constantly walking through. The room itself was quite nice with a view of the beach, however the door did not close behind us as it stuck on the carpet so we had to ensure we pulled the door closed ourselves. There was one packet of biscuits to share which is very mean for a double room, if it was a single room the same amount of biscuits would be provided for one person. There was a car park at the rear of the hotel but it would be good if it was checked for rubbish old socks were beside our car for the 2 nights we stayed. All in all for £140 per night we found the hotel poor, on check out we were not even asked if everything was satisfactory. I probably would stay at this hotel again as the location is excellent but would be a bit more assertive in making them aware of the things that made the stay not as good as it should have been.
