“Tasteless Breakfast but room ok”

I checked in around 6am while other people were checking out and went straight to Breakfast after check-in and boil eggs were less boiled that egg itself was coming out with shell and when I requested to have an omelette it was given tasteless and full of Oil. I checked in around 6am while other people were checking out and went straight to Breakfast after check-in and boil eggs were less boiled that egg itself was coming out with shell and when I requested to have an omelette it was given tasteless and full of Oil. Decided to go have coffee in the room while I was given a premium room when I fill water in the machine I realise the water is dripping as machine water holder was broken underneath and I decided to had a coffe through just a sachet but the provided sachets were rock hard and clearly seen that it was kept without any attention. Check-in was smooth room was clear and toilet was clean too .s

“Great Hotel at a Central Location”

The location is ideal for any traveler to Cardiff because it's so close to everything in the city--Cardiff Castle, High Street, museums, etc.--and it's very walkable to all these places from the hotel. It's easily accessible, in a safe location and is really ideal for any traveler looking to explore Cardiff from a central location. The lobby is comfortable and pleasing, and the rooms are clean, well-appointed and supply all the necessities. My room was a bit on the larger size with a huge flat screen TV (Netflix, Disney and local channels), and it had a sofa, luggage rack, safe, hair dryer, iron and lots of extra pillows and blankets. It even had a space heater and fan available. The bathroom was well-appointed with shampoo, hand soap and body wash. The included breakfast had good variety of choices from fried or scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, fruit, yogurt and cereals. Their dinner menu has a lot of choices as well, and their blade of beef dinner was not only beautifully presented, it was absolutely scrumptious. It was so good that I had it two nights in a row! The triple chocolate brownie was also divine. The food at this hotel is definitely a hidden gem. The staff were helpful and provide fine service, but hover a bit more on the reserved side. They do offer Welshcakes at the front desk with a nice welcome. I will definitely be staying at this hotel again when I visit Cardiff again.

“Dated rooms and overpriced”

We stayed for 2 nights recently and paid over £300 (excl breakfast) for the stay. The standard of the rooms was not what we would expect for a hotel of this cost. We stayed for 2 nights recently and paid over £300 (excl breakfast) for the stay. The standard of the rooms was not what we would expect for a hotel of this cost. The rooms were very dated and need a lot of love, the woodwork was chipped and curtains frayed, the bathroom mirror was rusting. To be honest it was more in keeping with a budget hotel. Disappointing.

Room number 307 air con absalute rubish, towel rail not working, small heater supplied great staff, great cleaners, hotel needs upgrading its dated , Restaurant small a job to find a table if busy !!! hotels location is very good.
