“Absolutely amazing hotel”

Just been for a weekend away with family. This hotel is amazing. Most comfortable beds and pillows. So clean and fresh inside and out. Food was fantastic, hot and served quickly. The staff here couldn't do enough for us very welcoming will definitely be returning.

We are just back from a weekend at the Four Oaks Hotel with a coach party. We liked everything about the hotel, starting from the welcome from the manager and staff on arrival. Check in was smooth. You were given keys and then directed to the dining room to find your allocated table for your stay plus to make your choice for the evening meal. We had paid extra for a sea view room and it was impressive. A good size with a large window giving wonderful views. There were actually 3 beds in the room and the bed was very comfortable. A bit high but not too much so. There were chairs in the window enabling you to sit enjoying the views. A good sized TV, tea and coffee etc were replaced every day. The towels in the bathroom were of a good quality as was the toilet paper! The choice of foods for the evening meal were very good, catering for all tastes. The food was of a good standard and was plentiful. Breakfast was also good. The choice of cereals , fruit juice or grapefruit or prunes was adequate. The cooked breakfast choice was also good with the opportunity to request none of items you didn’t like. This was of no problem to the staff. There was plenty of toast, coffee and tea available too. The staff were all welcoming and cheerful, obviously hardworking and a credit to the team. Thank You to all for a lovely weekend. We would stay again. Hard to believe that this is a 2 star hotel! It was much better than some 3 star hotels we have Stayed in.

Hear at present time Hotel is far better than a 2 star, friendly greeting from Moses. House keeping run by a great guy ( not bad singer). All areas very clean. We are staying sea view, excellent for people watching. Good parking both in hotel car park or sea front. Food both breakfast and Evening meal excellent. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. And not forgetting the Owner down to earth loves a little banter,thanks for pillow and curtains lol. Great place to stay if visiting venue cmyru. Thanks jackie & Walt xx

Our experience was good and bad Good Points Warm welcome Clean bed ,bathroom ,good views ,food and service very good , Bad points lots of stairs Lift only holds 2 people not adequate for a 55 room hotel on 3floors Room basic missmatched old furniture,very little room around the bed ,the only mirror in the room was where there was no plug socket for hairdryer ,and no dresser to put things on Room was large but very little thought had gone into layout Water pipes all around the room although blockd in you could hear drip drip drip everytime floor above used the bathroom It could be a lovely hotel with a bit of TLC Would not return for the above reasons
