We stayed at The Keep as my daughter had a gymnastics competition in the area. Parking is quite limited, but I was informed there are additional local options nearby. We were lucky enough to get the last available space when we arrived later in the day, around tea time. Check-in was done via intercom and phone, where we were given codes to access the building and collect our key. It was a straightforward and efficient process. Our room was lovely and had everything we could have needed, and more. It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into the rooms, with useful extras available such as chargers, ironing boards, and irons if required. The room was very clean, and we especially enjoyed having both a large, deep bath and a shower. We did experience some noise during the night from passers-by and from guests in the room above us, who were unfortunately quite loud. This was, of course, no fault of the hotel. We used the fan in the room to help drown out the noise, which worked quite well. Our favourite part of the stay was breakfast. We were warmly greeted by the receptionist and staff members. Although the dining area is small, it works really well. Breakfast was self-service with a great variety of options. My daughter, who can be quite picky, was very happy with the choices available. The food was kept warm and regularly topped up, and eggs could be freshly cooked to your liking on request. Check out was simple, and we would definitely stay here again. We would also be interested in trying a different room next time, as they all looked lovely based on the photos on the website. Thank you for a great stay!

It was delightful and a real little gem of a find in Yeovil. You have made a beautiful little hotel and should we ever stay in Yeovil again we will be back to your place without a doubt.

This hotel is excellent, a great find. We had a lovely spacious room (12) which was very clean and welcoming, beautifully decorated, very quiet. This hotel is excellent, a great find. We had a lovely spacious room (12) which was very clean and welcoming, beautifully decorated, very quiet. There were nice little touches, quality street sweets in reception, plants etc and in our room certainly decent tissues. loo paper, decent shower gel, nothing cheap. A great breakfast the next morning and friendly staff. We only stayed one night as visited Haynes Motor Museum one day and the next day Fleet Air Arm museum this was a perfect base for both. Would definitely return if that way again.

Overnight stay here and the rooms are comfortable and have all that you need. It’s a hotel that is not staffed as such so you need to check your emails for instructions. It’s all very easy. Overnight stay here and the rooms are comfortable and have all that you need. It’s a hotel that is not staffed as such so you need to check your emails for instructions. It’s all very easy. Quiet hotel with its own limited parking but there is a public car park nearby. The room I was in was well appointed, clean and ideal for an overnight stay. The bath was large, which was a bonus, and had a separate shower. Happily stay here again.
