I was in the Mobile area earlier this year on business and looking for a hotel for a three-night stay. I checked all my hotel apps and found this Marriot Property that was highly rated and affordable for the price. The hotel looked newer and the rooms looked very modern and clean. Check-in was seamless and I found myself in a very large room. The room was set up perfectly for a business traveller. The room had USB and electrical outlets strategically placed so there were ample areas to plug in my devices. The wifi was easy to connect to and had a very strong signal, perfect for connecting through a VPN or Firewall while still being able to connect to my streaming services. The room itself was very spacious, well decorated and almost a full-sized kitchen. My bed was very comfortable and I had a good night's sleep every night I was there. The property has many areas where guests can socialize and connect on the first floor if they don't want to just stay in their rooms. The lobby was bright with an array of tables and chairs to relax and connect to your devices. The Fitness center was above average and had a very good assortment of fitness equipment including free weights, exercise balls and multiple cardio machines. You can get a good workout in the gym. The food served at breakfast had a good assortment of hot and cold items, healthy choices and of course plenty of pastries, baked goods and very good coffee. This was the perfect location for being close to customers, and restaurants and for travelling in the area and into Mobile. I would put this hotel high on my list for future visits to the Mobile area. The only critique I have is that the rooms are very large and the TV's in the main area and the bedrooms are very small.

“The cleanest and friendliest hotel I've stayed at in YEARS!”

I could not believe this hotel. I had to grab something last minute after driving 14 hours on an unplanned trip. I've never stayed at a TownePlace Suites before, but this set the bar insanely high. I arrived late at night--maybe around 11pm. I was warmly welcomed by a trainee, Kayla, and her manager whose name I think was Amanda. They recognized my status, offered me a welcome amenity (I always go for points) and confirmed my room type, etc., and asked if there was anything I needed before heading to my room. My room as IMMACULATE. I mean it was so clean you could eat off the floors, or any other corner. Bathroom, bedroom, living room, even every corner inside the fridge and under the kitchen sink were clean. The next morning I went down to grab breakfast, and greeted in such a friendly manner by the staff. I think the main lady's name was Wanda. She treated me like her own child or grandchild. I mean seriously that warm and friendly you just wanted to give her a hug! Breakfast was delicious. I had spinach quiches, muffins, fresh fruit, and juice, and grabbed an orange for later because they were amazing! Every table and seat in the room was so clean! No crumbs or residue from previous guests anywhere to be seen. Super super clean. I decided since I was apparently in some kind of hotel heaven I should tell the front desk before I left, so I went and talked with a receptionist whose name was Ashlund, and she said they really pride themselves on their service and cleanliness there. While talking to her, the woman in charge of housekeeping happened to come to the desk, so I also thanked her for how clean the hotel was. Seriously a hotel that clean in every area is more than just one person--that takes a culture of cleanliness, quality training, and quality hiring. I thanked them both, and though I don't always take time to write reviews, that level of friendliness, service, and cleanliness needed called out.

We stayed here for a week and it was a very nice hotel. It was quiet and the room was bigger than most other rooms we have stayed in before at other hotels. We stayed here for a week and it was a very nice hotel. It was quiet and the room was bigger than most other rooms we have stayed in before at other hotels. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying here if you are ever in the area. Also they have a lovely lady named Wanda who works during breakfast hours. She is so sweet and friendly. I hope they give her a raise for her hard work and for doing her job above and beyond because she was excellent. I wish all hotels were this nice and clean.

We would have given more stars had it not been for the pitiful breakfast. Very clean hotel room, spacious, comfortable beds. Breakfast was pretty bad, they didn’t even have good coffee. We would have given more stars had it not been for the pitiful breakfast. Very clean hotel room, spacious, comfortable beds. Breakfast was pretty bad, they didn’t even have good coffee. No toppings for the oatmeal not that I would have eaten it. Oatmeal looked like it was made 3 days prior and concreted in the serving pan. Hardboiled eggs taste like they’ve been cooked several days ago. Soggy breakfast sandwich that was half cold/ half warmed. No fresh fruit was served. They had yogurt, but only vanilla. If you don’t care about having the included breakfast, then you will enjoy your stay.
