I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels over decades as an airline pilot, and this stay at the Motto by Hilton Bentonville Downtown stands out as truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, it was clear this property understands that a hotel’s real product is rest, relaxation, and putting guests completely at ease. The staff, though young, are incredibly gracious, accommodating, and professional. They make you feel like a valued guest rather than just another check-in. A special shoutout to the young man who handled my arrival—he was impressive in every way and set a wonderful tone for the entire stay. The atmosphere is remarkably refined for a chain hotel—modern, artistic, and sophisticated with a boutique feel. The new facilities are spotless and thoughtfully designed, creating a peaceful environment that truly supports relaxation. The rooms have all the necessary appointments and clever, efficient use of space. The only minor omission was an in-room coffee maker (easy fix with the excellent coffee bar downstairs). That said, the rooms are on the smaller side. They’re perfectly adequate and comfortable for a solo traveler staying one night, but if I were here for a week or traveling with my wife, I’d likely look for something with a bit more room to spread out. The location is an absolute highlight—an idyllic small-town Main Street that feels almost Disney-like in its charm. Thanks to the Walton family’s vision, Bentonville is exceptionally clean with vast public spaces, beautiful trails, museums (Crystal Bridges is a must!), and everything within easy walking distance. It’s a joy to explore on foot. Overall, this was a standout stay that exceeded expectations. Highly recommend the Motto by Hilton Bentonville Downtown for anyone seeking a refined, welcoming base in Northwest Arkansas. I’d gladly return!

We had a wonderful weekend at the Motto. We read the room descriptions carefully and knew that the room would be compact and beautifully designed. Our room was quiet, comfortable and clean. We loved the lobby, the beautiful art throughout and appreciated the friendly staff. It was the perfect location to access the bike trails and enjoy the town square. We will stay here again.

I have stayed here a few times because of the great location and kind staff. The rooms are small but that is very clear when booking. What is not clear, is basic things like water and coffee are not readily available. There are no water stations on the room levels and no coffee in your room. Downst… more

I have stayed here a few times because of the great location and kind staff. The rooms are small but that is very clear when booking. What is not clear, is basic things like water and coffee are not readily available. There are no water stations on the room levels and no coffee in your room. Downstairs there is coffee that ends at 7.30 am?? They need to add those basic amenities. The restaurant and bar are both beautiful and have great food/drink options.
