“Better than Expected”
The West rooms look rustic on the outside, the rooms are clean, cozy and nicely decorated.

“Showing its age but okay”
This place is showing its age, though we'd probably come again. Room was large and conveniently located, but the bed sagged to the middle, the shower drained very slowly, and the ice machine in our building was usually empty. Decent value regardless, and hey, we were there for the Canyon!

“Excellent Location, Disappointing Room Cleanliness”
Yavapai Lodge offers an excellent location for exploring the Grand Canyon. It is within walking distance of a well stocked grocery store, several dining options, and easy access to the Rim Trail. “The room smells bad!”
Location was excellent, front desk was very friendly, but the room at Yavapai East Lodge was below par.
