“Great hotel!”

This hotel was great! It was clean, the room was spacious, and the service was amazing! It is walking distance to art galleries and a few restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet as well. I would definitely stay here again!

Hotel is rated 4 stars but is actually a solid 3 stars. Every employee we came across was very nice and helpful, whether it was front desk or the restaurant. The lobby is beautiful and spacious. The only drawback is their rooms. They smell musty, probably due to lack of open windows, so ventilation is limited to when the AC is running. Moreover, the mattresses are too small for the bed frame. The result is that the corners stick out and my wife accidentally bumped her shins a few times and needed first aid. The corners have plastic covers but they are not enough. Another review mentioned this a few years ago, so management is aware, but the cost is probably too high to replace all the bedframes. There is little room between the front of the bed and the wall, so bumping in is inevitable.

Whatever you do, get a room with an odd number facing east … Not an even number facing west. Two major sleeping problems if you’re in an even numbered groom. Whatever you do, get a room with an odd number facing east … Not an even number facing west. Two major sleeping problems if you’re in an even numbered groom. When the disco Nextdoor closes up between 1 and 2 AM, you will be awakened by yelling, screaming, loud car, radios, you name it. Lasted for about an hour. Hotel doesn’t seem to have any security to deal with that. But that’s not all. At6:15 AM, be prepared for the serenade of the dumpsters. So have fun. I don’t say I didn’t warn you. 🤪

Hotel is very nice overall. Restaurant is great, the hotel is nice and modern, and everything is in great shape. The only problem is kind of a big deal though: the walls are incredibly thin. I could hear conversations in the rooms next to me and the noise from the corridor outside my room was clearly audible to the point it would wake me up at night and I’m not a light sleeper. I ended up needing to run a noise maker app on my phone at night. If it weren’t for this I would have given the hotel five stars.
