Best Western, Surprise, AZ Review I stayed for a couple of nights in a room with a King bed and a sofa bed. The room also had a desk and desk chair; a coffee table, dresser, two end tables and a (barely) padded chair. Positives: . The room is spacious and clean. . I found the bed comfortable but it might be too firm for some. . The bathroom has a spacious counter. . A Keurig coffee maker, but you might want to bring your own coffee pods. . They have some variety in the breakfast and they post a menu in the lobby listing what will be served each day. . The TV provides access to on demand content from Direct TV. It also allows you to log into Amazon Prime with your account; and has access to YouTube. . The towels were good quality. . There was ample storage, including a three-drawer dresser, spacious drawers in each of the nightstands, and a 4-foot-wide closet. . I had no problem with noise even though my room was on the end of the building closest to the road. Some people have complained about the AC unit but I found it wasn't any noisier than in other mid-priced hotels. Negatives (these are little things): . The refrigerator doesn't have a freezer. . Cheap toilet paper in the bathroom (you might want to bring your own). . The sofa and rug are both of colors that were no doubt selected to hide stains. . There were some minor cosmetic issues such as tears at the top of the shower curtain, a crack in the wall beside the tub and stains on the window sill. . There's an odd chair in the corner that isn't comfortable to sit in for any length of time. In January I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Peoria. The two hotels compare favorably. I liked the breakfast at the Best Western better because they had variety where the Holiday Inn served the same thing every day. The Best Western also had on-demand offerings on the TV where the Holiday Inn didn't. On the other hand the Holiday Inn did have a freezer in the fridge, and the room furniture was of a higher quality.

Great Place To Stay. Needed a room just for one night but couldn't be happier. The location has everything you would want. Restaurants and shopping all in the immediate area. Great Place To Stay. Needed a room just for one night but couldn't be happier. The location has everything you would want. Restaurants and shopping all in the immediate area. Extremely clean and with a comfortable bed. Staff both during check in and out were friendly and helpful. I did hear a train or two but wasn't loud and didn't lose any sleep. Great value and highly recommend.

Comfortable bed. Nice pool. Great rotating breakfast selection. Good location for spring training game. A bit difficult to get to hotel. Ok customer service. Requested room service but maid only took dirty towels and did not leave new sets. Front desk seemed annoyed they had to bring towels to us.… more

Ridiculous $25 early check in fee when our room was ready.
