Located on the Banks of Tonto Creek in the largest Ponderosa Pine Forest in the world, the hotel is historically famous for its western hospitality. The hotel is in Payson, Arizona, at the base of the Mogollon Rim in the area that author Zane Grey made famous with his popular adventures of the Old West. There are shops and restaurants nearby. Phoenix is approximately two hours' drive from the hotel and the Grand Canyon is around 4 hours by car. Facilities The establishment comprises a total of 66 accommodation units. “Great lodge stay for some winter outdoor activities - room for everyone”

“expectations exceeded”

I wasn’t sure what to expect from Lodge but I can say it exceeded our expectations. It’s an older lodge but everything is kept up nicely and the staff was excellent (especially Jenn). “Peaceful & beautiful”

Lodge was beautiful & peaceful in the forest! Having refrigerator, toaster coffee maker etc was very nice. Enjoyed eating at the restaurant right there too. It was convenient since other restaurants were located in Payson; short drive away.
