“Good Value for Bakersfield”
I like this Sleep Inn location. It is a 2 .5 star that includes a nice breakfast. It is a step up from the usual Motel 6, but not as nice as a Hampton Inn. I have stayed here multiple times, and have been happy. The hotel has an elevator and a luggage cart. King size beds don't seem to be available… more

“Not real good.,.”
When we checked in I was hit with a $100 hold on my credit card, room was paid for. Stayed in room 217, phone did not work, hair dryer did not work, the heater did not work and the toilet barely flushed plus the caulking at the base of the toilet was smeared all over the floor. “Okay hotel”
This hotel offers a good value but not great. Rooms are spacious, but the beds seem not very clean. Breakfast is basic. Location is secluded in a bit shady area.
