Our family of four stayed at Home2 Suites in Carlsbad, California, for more than 10 days, and we had one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. We are very particular about where we stay during our vacations, and this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The entire team goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. Every request we made was handled promptly and always with a smile. The cleanliness throughout the hotel is outstanding, and the level of service honestly reminded us of a Four Seasons hotel. We would especially like to recognize a few exceptional team members: Gloria, who cleaned our room each day, was incredible. After we requested five towels once, she remembered our preference and made sure we had them every day without us having to ask again. She even washed our dishes, loaded them into the dishwasher, and started the cycle. It was the attention to the little details that made such a big difference. Miguel was constantly working hard wherever he was needed. We saw him doing maintenance, helping in the breakfast area when they needed an extra hand, and preparing rooms for incoming guests. His dedication and willingness to help in every department did not go unnoticed. One thing that really impressed us was that the hotel actually steam-cleans the carpets after each family checks out. We saw this firsthand. The rooms smelled fresh, looked immaculate, and felt as if the hotel had just opened. Every corner was spotless. Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. There was a great variety of delicious options each morning. We were especially impressed by Sandra and the breakfast team. They handled the busy breakfast rush with professionalism, efficiency, and genuine kindness. Sandra kept everything running smoothly, even when the pancake machine malfunctioned. She patiently worked to fix it without giving up. We also noticed that when guests arrived right at closing time, she still welcomed them warmly and made sure they could enjoy breakfast instead of feeling rushed. That level of hospitality is rare. We also want to thank Isai at the front desk for his outstanding customer service. He was always polite, friendly, and eager to help. One day, we noticed a couple of boogie boards that had been left behind and donated to the hotel. Isai kindly walked with us to the pool area and let our boys borrow them during our stay.It was a thoughtful gesture that made our vacation even more enjoyable. Finally, we would like to recognize Monica, the manager. She was warm, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making sure guests had a wonderful experience. Her leadership is clearly reflected in the entire staff and the exceptional atmosphere throughout the hotel. I hope it continues like this for many people to experience the best stay. Thank you to everyone at Home2 Suites Carlsbad for making our family feel so welcome.
