The Legoland Hotel is awesome! We've stayed at two of them - this one (California) a few weeks ago (2026) for 3 nights and the Florida one for 4 nights in 2025. They are both great. The theming is so fun. Lots of activities for kids to do. Love how the rooms have an area for the adults with a king bed and a separate area with bunk bed for the kids. The included buffet breakfast is very tasty with lots of choices. I would recommend staying here is you can afford it, but do have a few suggestions for management if you are reviewing this: -Food: Although the included buffet breakfast is great, the dinner buffet (cost) is very pricy - $40 USD for adults if I recall correctly. Please consider reducing this. We did eat a la carte twice in the other hotel restaurants (Skyline Cafe and Dragon's Den at the Castle Hotel). They were fine, but selection was limited and prices still fairly high. We ordered Uber Eats once one night to avoid this. Our son prefers to eat on site and we would like to take him, but it gets old eating only so so food with limited selection when you have an extended stay. (I will stay we had this same issue in Florida - both resorts could use to improve their food offerings.) -No master builder workshop: Our son loved this at the hotel in Florida. We went every night. It would be awesome if California would consider adding this as well. -No "security footage" on hotel room screens: In Florida, the TV's had a very cute little video that was meant to look like security footage of Lego characters sneaking around the hotel. It was fun and memorable. California might want to consider adopting this! -Cheapness with the gifts in the safe: Both the Florida and California hotels offer a very fun treat for kids: scavenger hunts were you find the answers to a few questions, and then get a code for the safe in your room, which contains a prize! It's lots of fun. I will say we preferred the way California did this. In Florida, the scavenger hunt just took place in your room, whereas in California you have to explore the hotel a bit, which is funner. Disappointment though was in the replenishment of the gifts in the safe when staying multiple nights. In Florida, the gifts were replenished each night. My understanding is that California used to do this as well, but recently stopped. Please reconsider! Our son loved finding new gifts each day, and we paid just as much for our subsequent nights as we did the first. Finally, a tip for parents: you can use the pools at both the Legoland Hotel and the Caste Hotel across the street, assuming they are open. The Castle pool is nicer: warmer, has water features, and has a hot tub. If you are spending multiple nights, you might want to take your kids to enjoy the pool and activities at both hotels, as they are a bit different.

Our family of four stayed at the Legoland Castle Hotel. It was a busy time at Christmas holiday. Check in process was quick and the hotel itself had plenty of activities for kids to do. The room itself is small but kids liked their bunk beds and their own small lego play area in their bedroom. Main bed was not very comfortable and the walls were paper thin. The shower/bath curtain couldn't be closed completely so water would always get out. But overall stay was pleasant and kids had a good time!

We have stayed at this Legoland Hotel twice before, and loved all of it. Just last week we stayed again, with another grandson. We were disappointed with all the automation and less human touch. Check in is on a kiosk, the treasure hunt was digital on your phone (ours wouldn't work, so they finally gave us a paper version). Our air conditioning was not working and we had to go through their "wizard" text system. They brought a fan to our room, but the A.C. was never fixed. The Bricks Buffet was left dirty for a long time after spills. Spills are not a problem, there are a lot of kids, but it was not cleaned up. Anyhow, we will most likely not stay here again. Too overpriced for what we experienced this time.
