“Beautiful setting, lovely room, kind and attentive staff.”
We had a lovely and relaxing stay here, on our way to visit friends in Carlsbad. We loved sitting in the roof terrace at sunset. Our room was spacious and the bed very comfortable.

“Highly recommend”
We had a great stay. It was a beautiful room, clean, and great amenities. It was such a relaxing atmosphere. The view from the roof was gorgeous, and it’s close to a lot of great restaurants and coffee. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

“A comfortable spot away from home”
We love the lodge because of its location and intimate, B&B-like beach vibe. The staff is always polite and helpful. And, the rooms are a good size, clean, and nicely decorated. The rooftop deck is awesome for HH or to just chill.

“Good location great staff”
Great location, we got an ocean view and it was a tiny sliver of a view. Not sure why they couldn’t put us in the other ocean view room that was never occupied. Also, the room felt a little Dirty. The rug under the bed was very discolored. The people are nice though.

“Motel with great views but 4 star pricing”
The rooms are not kept up like presented in photos (no cozy floor rugs etc). The outdoor rooftop space is nice but it is above the largest rooms (which I had).
