Larkspur Landing hotel in Folsom is run very professionally. I stayed for over a month Nov-Dec 2025. From the check-in to my check-out I really cannot think of a single incidence wherein I laid a frown on my forehead. The reception staff was all very cordial and highly responsive to all my needs. Handling my constant inflow of couriers to ensuring the schedule for having to clean my room to the courteous smiles on greeting - all checked out 5 Stars. The cleanliness of the room by the cleaning staff was another 5-Star coming promptly on time and doing their job with full sincerity and professionalism. Made some very good conversations with David - a wonderful soul. Dayana, Sabrina, Jennifer we all very conscious of their duties and handled my extension, invoicing, couriers and guest arrivals very diligently. The stay was par excellence. I did not for once feel exhausted or claustrophobic as the suites are pretty spacious, great kitchen with dish washer and good cutlery along with amenities like washing machines, gym and sit out areas. What I loved the most was a wonderful writing desk and a sturdy chair. The double build lamps in the room were very strategically located with plenty of subtle lighting from all angles. The balcony was a treat as we could go across and soak in the tranquility of the surrounding park along Natoma lake and the American River. The close proximity just 5 minutes walk across Folsom Blvd. was very refreshing and truly natures gift at its best. The restaurants and the parking lot were never an issue on the contrary it was quite engaging to see some movement and it felt safe at all times. The gas station was a plus. The close proximity to US-50 and Folsom Blvd plus the Iron Point Rd was a major plus and the sound decibels were very soft contrary to my expectations. Lastly I want to thank Dawn Lowell the General Manager for his brilliant leadership in empowering his staff to be at their best at all times and handle each guest with so much professionalism and grace. Everything moved seamlessly and it was always a home to come back to. Thank you to the entire Larkspur Landing team at Folsom. A Great Value stay.

I’ve stayed at Larkspur Landing Extended Stay Suites in Folsom about half a dozen times over the past year, and it has become my go-to hotel in the area. The location is very convenient—close to the freeway, a short drive to many restaurants and shops, and within walking distance of Kingdom Coffee for excellent coffee. The front desk staff and manager have consistently been professional, helpful, and responsive during every stay. The beds are comfortable, the showers have reliably hot water, and the rooms are generally very quiet; in all my stays, I’ve only heard noise from a neighboring room once. There is ample parking available, though it is currently $10 per day, and the hotel offers complimentary breakfast and coffee, which is a nice perk. The only complaint I have is that the carpet on the floor leading to the side exit has a strong carpet-cleaner smell. Fragranced cleaning products on carpets can trigger allergies, so it would be wonderful if the hotel could switch to a non-fragranced or low-fragrance option in that area. Overall, this is a comfortable, well-run property, and I plan to continue staying here when visiting Folsom.
