First time stay in L.A, Husband and I came down to see a show at SoFi stadium last weekend. We stayed three nights at the La Quinta Inn by Wyndam Hotel. Lets go thru the pros and cons! Pros: - The most comfortable beds I've ever slept on in a hotel! They also gave us brand new pillows - Rooms were big, big bathrooms, and nice AC to keep you cool. Also very clean! - Parking on site - Nice courtyard to have your morning coffee - Free breakfast : eggs, sausage, cereal, waffles, toast and juice/coffee - Staff are friendly and helpful - 40min walk from SoFi stadium Cons: - Hotel is located on a busy road, so it is quite noisy outside - We did see a lot of "ladies of the night" just outside and I think they might have had clients in the hotel. My only issue with the hotel is I wish they had more swipe card security for the staircase/elevator. Because technically anyone can walk off the street and come up to the floors.

I did not like this hotel. The hotel staff (front desk) seemed as if I was interrupting them by coming up to the desk to check-in as well as with questions. The street noise from Room 235 was constant. This room faces the street and is a block from the interstate. When I arrived at 6pm and all throughout the entire night, traffic, horns, sirens... all of the above nonstop. The room is at the end of the hallway, where there is an exterior exit to the outside sidewalk. This became the seating area of choice for people walking by. I could hear all of their conversations as they sat there and watched traffic for hours. I went to the front desk and asked to be switched to a different room but was told there weren't any available and even if they had availability, all faced the same street and would have the same issue. Aside from the noise, the bed was comfortable. That was the only positive I could come up with. The breakfast was not good.
