The service is what sets this hotel apart! Due to a leak in our home we checked in snd by the time we got settled in our room it was 4pm before I made it down to the lobby bar/restaurant to have a bite to eat. Sam and Fernando made me feel welcomed and provided excellent service and I didn’t feel alone eating at the bar. Later that evening when my husband and son felt better we all went down for a late dinner and Irma was great! The next day Yara and Bianca made me the best drink I ever had, they were so kind and sweet I returned the next day for a treat! I placed lots of food orders for pick up and the entire team in the kitchen was amazing and everything tasted delicious!! The 2 female cooks, and the 2 male cooks were the best - and the chef that made the fish tacos was called out so I could thank him!! It’s clear Sarah leads by example and the team all goes above and beyond to provide excellent service. Katie and Ashlee helped with all my pick up orders. I meet Janet (housekeeping) and she made sure our room was well stocked. I will definitely be back just to dine here once we back in our house. Great hotel for weekend getaways with amazing amenities.

Excellent location near some fine restaurants at AV Town Center and so much that this part of OC has to offer. We loved the pool and sun deck. Didn’t bring kids but families seemed to really be enjoying themselves. Front desk staff was very helpful to us for some special requirements and we loved that they take hospitality seriously and with good humor. Housekeeping was very sweet and attentive. We’ll definitely stay again!

This hotel could be much better, as the bones are there. But there were some glaring issues at the mgt level. First, the good: 1. The rooms are modern and very clean. Housekeeping does a great job. 2. There is a large commercial gym attached to the hotel. It has everything you need. Equipment a bit beat up…think Planet Fitness or 24 hour fitness quality, not equinox. But it gets the job done. And there is a large outdoor pool. 3. Restaurants are good. Lots of options for lunch/dinner. Now for the not so good: 1. The Wi-Fi wasn’t working for over a day. Anybody you asked from the staff either gave completely false info (“oh, it’s going to be out for 10 days”) to ignorance (“it’s working fine for us”). Customers felt dismissed. Finally the GM admitted it wasn’t working. 2. I submitted a form online for a meeting room rental. No one got back to me. I had to chase the hotel. And meeting rooms are not cheap. You are nickel and dimed for every little thing (Cords; Flip chart, projector) for items that should be standard in modern meeting rooms, but aren’t. I’m paying a 1000% mark-up for flip charts, markers, and an overhead projector because the room was designed 1990. 3. You have to call every day to ask for Housekeeping or put a door hang sign on. I didn’t trust the latter, so called. And they did come. But as a Platinum member couldn’t they just mark it at check-in that I wanted it? Why make me do the extra work of calling each day?
