The staff were exceptionally helpful and willing to help and be available for all sorts of queries and happenstances. Notable for exceptional service were housekeeping staff Yazmin and Laura, who climbed behind a pull down bed to retrieve my Wife Jill's glasses in an extremely tight space with sharp edges. Also, very friendly and helpful and available were Activities Staff, Lizette, Cynthia, Teresa, and Victor. Office Staff Hayden and Nicolle were very helpful and unfazed when we dropped a TV remote behind the fold up bed and crushed it. The Stardust Manager also deserves a mention for providing very good information and very friendly service. We stayed for 2 weeks. At first the size of the room was a bit of a shock, being very small. However, it was very well arranged with excellent self-catering facilities; large fridge and freezer, microwave, 2 induction hotplates, all cooking and eating utensils and crockery and pots and pans to allow us to self cater and cook for 2 weeks. Large sink and washing up area and coffee percolator. The Shower was large with 2 shower heads, one at each end and could easily have accommodated 3 people showering at once with lots of space. Separate basin and washroom were also spacious and useful. There was adequate storage and cupboard space when we arranged our belongings carefully. We had both SCUBA Diving and Inflatable Kayak kit with us. Overall the accommodation worked very well for us, except for the pull down bed, which was necessary, because of the small size of the room. The pull down bed was uncomfortable and could have done with a much better mattress. It was also a liability for us, having dropped belongings behind it, very difficult to retrieve, and having caught objects in the mechanism and damaged them. The facilities were great, with swimming pool and hot tub front and rear, small gym with weights and running and other exercise machines, small laundry room with washer and dryer machines, and upper deck with variety of self-catering barbecue facilities. Overall our stay was very pleasant, with the lift-up bed being the only and major discomfort and liability, uncomfortable and needing a much firmer nd better mattress for a good night rest and sleep.

Our stay at the Stardust Lodge in June 2026 was wonderful. Kenny and the other staff members were very friendly and accommodating. The room and property was very clean, comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast Treats were delightful and the staff could not have been nicer. 5 star stay and we will be back next year.

My family wanted a quick weekend getaway and couldn't find a pet sitter. We found Stardust on our google search for pet friendly hotels and we are so happy we went. The room didn't smell of pet odor and the location is perfect in the middle of the strip where we can walk everywhere. But I was most impressed with Nicolle at the front desk. She was very friendly from my first call with questions, to our check-in, in-between questions and check-out. It's hard getting good service these days and Nicolle had excellent customer service. Great trip!

We showed up to the Stardust Lodge about an hour before check-in and they obliged us by granting access to our room right away. The renovation of the lodge was quite nice, and the staff was exceptionally nice, helpful, and cooperative. The accommodations were comfortable, however the road noise is quite loud until about midnight, but I had ear plugs to help me sleep. The location of Stardust Lodge was ideal, and allowed for easy walking to nearby restaurants and casinos. I would highly recommend staying at the Stardust Lodge if visiting South Lake Tahoe for any length of time.
