Our family was staying overnight to attend a bat mitzvah in the area. We had one two-bedroom suite and a one-bedroom suite. From beginning to end we were taken care of by the staff. We added the second room at the last minute and the hotel staff (can't remember her name) was able to get us two rooms next to each other. Hassan at the front desk was great and acted like our personal concierge! We asked for early check-in which he gave us. He helped us with a shuttle to the nearby venue. Gave us late check-out. And was generally pleasant and accommodating to all our needs. Did not have chance to use the pool or gym, but enjoyed the included breakfast, not just continental

Great place to stay in the area. I stayed here because I was in the area for an event in Simi Valley, the next town over. The price was right. Its located a short walking distance from the Chatsworth Metrolink/Amtrak station, so it was pretty easy to get to from there. (I came from LAX via Union Station). Walking up to the hotel property, I was greeted with a beautiful, well maintained hotel. The hotel did have a very inviting pool, and I regret not taking some time and going in, but the one day I could it was too cold! (even for someone visiting from New England where it was 27 degrees when I left!) All the employees were very friendly with any interaction I had with them. The room was very clean and modern. It was a suite with a fully furnished modern kitchen (so pots & pans and dishes!) and living room, with a seperate bedroom suite. The bed was soft and comfy with fresh linens, and I am usually not a fan of hotel beds, but I liked this one! The two best things about this hotel, besides everything I've already stated, was that it came with a free breakfast buffet with great coffee every day. This helped so much as I didn't need to go elsewhere in the morning before heading to Simi Valley for the event I was attending. The second thing was that this hotel has a policy where they do not clean the rooms daily, unless you request it or stay beyond 5 days. I LIKE this policy and typically request "No service" for my stays at hotels, and get a lukewarm response when I do. (many hotels do not like this). But at this hotel, I didn't have to, it was their policy not to do so. (I just don't like people in my room when I am not around!) If I had to pick one bad thing about this hotel, and I struggled to do so, was that the housekeeping cracked the window in the bedroom when it was cleaned before my stay for some fresh air. Unfortunately I didn't notice until the third night, and wondered why the room was so loud at 5am when the dumpster in the parking lot was emptied! Oh well, I should have checked the windows when I checked in! But overall, a great place to stay and would highly recommend to anyone!

My wife and I were in the area for two weeks, handling a family emergency. The first week we stayed at a hotel with no sitting area and only a mini microwave and fridge. When I saw that Sonesta offered a nice sitting area and a semi full kitchen, I booked the reservation immediately online. The hotel was located in a decent area and within reach of all most any type of store or restaurant. Upon entering the room, my first impression was that the room was a little outdated, due to the sleeper sofa and carpeting. However, I realized that there were two separate bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and shower. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable and provided a good nights sleep. There are televisions in each of the bedrooms. The semi-full kitchen had a full size refrigerator, large microwave and a two burner electric stove top. The room was furnished with a full set of dishes, glasses and pots. After a trip to Costco, we were able to cook meals in our room for the entire week. The sitting area was a decent size with a sofa, small table and a television. The room also had a small desk area which was very helpful. Overall the room was nice and clean and just what we needed. The breakfast bar was nice and the food was fine. The area were the food is located can get a little cramped if people are waiting at the toaster area. There were several guest who were loading up numerous plates of food and seen walking back to their rooms. I was not sure what was going on with that. There was access to free coffee, tea and flavored water throughout the entire day and evening. The fitness room is a little small but has several workout machines and free weights. The outdoor heated saltwater pool and hot tub were extremely relaxing. I was one of two people using the area and it was very peaceful. There is an outdoor electric fire pit located in a garden area of the hotel. It was another relaxing area to sit by during a cool evening. A few suggestion is to provide a smart TV, at least in the main sitting area. Provide a larger trash can in the kitchen area and to provide a recycle container within the room. All in all, the stay here was very pleasant and the room provide the space that was much needed. The staff was friendly and the grounds were well maintained. Great Job!

“A nice refuge for a stay in Chatsworth , Family friendly”

My family attended a wedding in the area . At first , I wasn’t sure about the area or site , It turned out to be a comfortable place to stay . I loved the water found in the front area of the hotel . My family attended a wedding in the area . At first , I wasn’t sure about the area or site , It turned out to be a comfortable place to stay . I loved the water found in the front area of the hotel . Lemon water which I added mint to . Very refreshing and readily available . The breakfast was good , preferring the bacon or sausage vs the 3rd day choice of corn beef , which I didn’t eat . I recommend checking out the rooms first as the view and or privacy can change based on the room location and choice . The pool and adjacent patio was very nice . There is a mall near by , approximately 10 -15 minutes away that has Nordstrom’s , Macy and Neiman Marcus stores for those of us who shop last minute .
