The one bedroom suite looks just like the photos online. We had a direct view of the rock through the slider/access to the balcony. The jacuzzi tub works and was a good size. My 6'3" partner could take a bath too (though not stretched out). They provide enough pillows and extra blankets if you get cold. There are mini splits for AC/heat/fan and several windows open to provide air flow. Beware the SUPER COLD mini fridge! One of my sodas burst (whoops!!) because I didn't think to check the temperature setting inside LOL there are public microwaves throughout the hotel to reheat stuff and a small hot/cold water cooler by the elevators to use for hot chocolate, tea, or regular water. A lot of hotels don't offer continental breakfasts anymore so that was a nice bonus. They served snack muffins and danishes, small pre-made omelettes, sausage, cereals, oatmeal, bagels, white bread for toast, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, yogurt, and apple or orange juice. There was plenty of options to eat for free until 10am. The elevator works and the stairs are available if you don't want to wait during check out. They offered online checkout which was simple and fast. They also have a wine tasting and snacks event from 4-5pm every day and a propane fire pit on their rooftop deck. Seagulls are everywhere so mind where you sit, but that shouldn't be a downside for the hotel. The seagulls are EVERYWHERE but oddly don't beg or follow you around for food. The suite room has a sitting area with a fireplace and small TV that I used to get some work done while my partner napped. The WiFi worked very well. The only downside was that there was no writing table for me to work at, though they have small tables in the other rooms they offer. The TV has several channels, but it's also able to screencast from your phone. Maid service happens daily whether you use the sign or not, though it's more of a quick cleanup and make the bed and rereshing the towels. On the towels... bring one from home if you want to wrap your entire body. I'm a curvy lady that needed both towels to wrap myself! This is standard across all hotels I've ever been to, but thought it was worth mentioning for future travelers. We traveled to Morro Bay to celebrate my partner's 40th birthday and Bina Patel, the General Manager, made our stay comfortable with a kind note and complimentary wine for our special occasion. I researched a lot of hotels before booking this one and for the price point the amenities are excellent and we had a very enjoyable stay. Thank you, Bina!

“Nice room....but”

Location is wonderful. Lovely tower room with nice view of Morro Rock. Wonderful large shower. That being said, some maintenance work is needed. Hallway lights on 2nd floor dont work. Ceiling has exposed electrical wiring. Rooms do not have microwaves....we had to go to the other end of the floor t… more

Location is wonderful. Lovely tower room with nice view of Morro Rock. Wonderful large shower. That being said, some maintenance work is needed. Hallway lights on 2nd floor dont work. Ceiling has exposed electrical wiring. Rooms do not have microwaves....we had to go to the other end of the floor to use the microwave tucked in a small cubby. Torn sheer curtains in one of our windows. Very small fridge.

“Lots of Free Perks, Amazing Staff!”

We opted for this hotel because we were in town for my best friend’s wedding and this is where many of the people attending the wedding were also staying. The room was large and clean with a fireplace and jetted bathtub. The location of this hotel is great, very close walking distance to the Embarcadero, The Siren, Dorn’s and a less than five minute drive to The Rock. We all spent the evening before the wedding on the rooftop deck with the fire pit going, drinks flowing, and lots of laughter. Bena, the manager, came up to visit us and check how our stay was going. She was very nice and friendly. We explained to her that our room (209) was experiencing a very loud vibration that was coming from the ice maker on the floor above, she offered to move us, but we had already fully unpacked and were only there for two nights so we opted to remain in 209. They do have a social hour from 4PM-5PM with free wine and cheese, parking is free (a rare find these days!), and a free continental breakfast. If not for the extremely uncomfortable bed, this hotel would get the highest rating possible, but it was like sleeping on plywood with springs and made it very difficult to get a decent night’s sleep. BUT the staff were all so super friendly, Bena hooked up the bride and groom with an awesome room upgrade and made the stay so much better with her stellar customer service and friendly demeanor!
