What a fantastic hotel! The location right on the Embarcadero near Pier 14 is central to everything. We stayed here for my birthday, and Sammy made us feel so special, he truly went the extra mile. “Quick, easy check in and a room with a great view”
Sammy at the front desk of Hotel Griffin was extremely helpful with getting me checked in early and even offering a better room that was available. Very friendly staff in my experience. The view was amazing and the hotel was quiet for me to take meetings between conference events. I'll be back agai… more

“Great place to stay for a Giants game”
Always have a great time here. If you can spring for a room with a view of the bay go for it. The staff is very nice and the addition of Perrys Restaurant is a plus. After spending the day wandering around the city it is nice to just relax with a cocktail. It ia also across from the ferry building … more
