Check in and out was really simple. The Inn is located in a great location with an abundance of food options and laundromats within a short walking distance. The car parks are tight spaces but it’s great to have free parking and wifi. The rooms are tidy and present well our only upset was the cleanliness of the shower and the poor heating and drainage which we are unsure if that was a 3rd floor problem only. Overall great place to stay in SF.

Well what we liked was that it had free parking, BUT it is first come first served so you could miss out on a parking spot as there are not enough spaces for the amount of rooms. Well what we liked was that it had free parking, BUT it is first come first served so you could miss out on a parking spot as there are not enough spaces for the amount of rooms. The carpets in the communal passages are gross, the lift is clean and the rooms clean and newly refurbished all be it cheaply for us they worked and much better than a motel 6!!! But its SF and for the money a good deal.

We stayed at Nob Hill Motor Inn for a few nights in July 2025 and found it to be a budget-friendly option in San Francisco. The location is close to cafes and restaurants. Check-in and check-out were simple and smooth. The room we stayed in was spacious and simply furnished, just as shown in the photos. It included a coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator, which was a plus. Although the room wasn’t sparkling clean, it was tidy and functional. The small window had an odd view: partial glimpse of the street though what seem to have been balconies of ours and 2 other hotel rooms, that now were simply blocked, so we mostly kept it closed. The property advertises updated rooms, and ours was, but the communal carpets and the building overall are showing signs of wear and could definitely use some TLC. There’s no breakfast available, and while the lobby coffee machine is mentioned, it wasn’t operating during our visit between 7:00 and 8:30 a.m. Fortunately, we had in-room coffee. One of the best features is the free covered parking located on the first floor. However, spaces are tight and limited—first come, first served—so we recommend arriving early as it fills up quickly, especially at night. The building has three floors, with both the parking area and lobby on the ground level.
