Excellent location and very helpful staff. Loan bikes for 2 hrs were fantastic, and the complimentary free breakfast was a bonus. :-)

Hotel has upped its game-we got a renovated room, Room 118 at the rear of complex on the ground floor. Trash bins are stored outside the windows. Street view. Pluses: Spacious room with fridge, microwave and a few dishes. Lavazza coffee machine and pods w creamer capsules. Kichen Sink has a cover /cutting board that is practical and there’s a Dining table for 2 Other features: In-room safe, Comfy bed euro style duvet (No top sheet in between). Good bedside lamps that do not require you to get out of bed to turn them off, and plenty of plugs to charge devices. The hotel now offers Hot breakfast vs the old cold continental. Bacon, scramblec egg bites, real oatmeal vs instant. Pastries fresh whole fruit. Cereals. Coffee and tea. There is also a pantry shop area in lobby with frozen and refrigerated snacks, drinks and meals for purchase. Things that could be better: TV is maddening -no local channels. Smart TV is great if you have a Netflix account or like to watch YouTube. It seems to get only FOX Live Now. Renovation cut corners to go with stark white Ikea style. The white walls could use some local color. How about a few posters for big lannual events like Fiesta, the film festival? Wood-like lineleum floors hold sand/grit that end up on the bed. Workaround: use the bathmat to wipe feet just before getting into bed. Italian hotels with tile or wood floors always put a mat beside the bed. The person who designed this bathroom has never stayed in a hotel because the Bathroom renovation is a big miss: spent loads on marble and new fixtures but the shower doesn’t have a handheld option, and the sink has no room to hold a toothbrush or items -they will fall down into the sink. Great Toto toilet fixture with a cheap plastic seat that is loose. No towel racks, and very little storage space for anything except a small glass shelf above the toilet that is half occupied by a fake plant. Room to avoid: 109 is under a busy staircase

Excellent location, cookies on arrival were delicious, lady on welcome desk kind of cool - couldn’t figure the vibe out but felt a bit of an inconvenience on arrival - perhaps she was distracted - not used to that after two weeks in California, basic breakfast was complementary, bikes free for two hours which was amazing to ride along the waterfront, family suite was great - loads of space, loved the area and the pool and the vibe. I left my nice sunglasses by the pool - I’m sure I know exactly where - went back approx 20 minutes later and they had gone - they never showed up. That was a bit of a downer as otherwise we absolutely loved this place. Tomas restaurant nearby - excellent food and service. Wish we could have stayed longer despite missing sunglasses.
