Pros: Friendly staff; clean, comfortable, ad quiet guest rooms; small property nonetheless has a pool and fitness center; reasonable rates. Cons: "Meh" area; lousy wi-fi in rooms. Truth be told, this hotel doesn't look like much from the outside, and the overwhelming smell of curry while walking to my room didn't set a positive tone (not that I have an issue with the smell of curry, but strong odors in general aren't pleasant). Fortunately, my room smelled fine. In fact, it was a lovely place to spend time- nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. The only negative was a weak wi-fi signal that made downloading files while working something of a challenge. It's likely the result of the property being older (maybe with thick walls) that made sure I didn't hear anything outside- even on a night when the front desk employee told me the hotel was completely full. There is a free breakfast offered, but I opted to walk to a nearby Denny's both mornings of my stay. There is nothing inherently wrong with the area, it's just kind of blah with a few fast food restaurants and a basic grocery store within walking distance. And because of heavy traffic on the main road, walking was preferable to driving to nearby businesses. The property also has a very small pool and fitness center- I didn't spend time at either one, but at least they're offered. As I get older and less tolerant of nuisances and disturbances, properties like this one that are staffed by friendly, accommodating people interested in providing an above average experience are increasingly valuable- and the experience was indeed above average. I won't think twice about staying here again next time I'm in the area.

“Wonderful Stay”

This is a great hotel. Very clean. The person in the office was fantastic. We wanted to play cards in the room & there was only one chair. He went & got us another one. Now that's service! Bed was very comfortable. Decent pillows. Breakfast was one of the best I have had. Great yogurt machi… more

This is a great hotel. Very clean. The person in the office was fantastic. We wanted to play cards in the room & there was only one chair. He went & got us another one. Now that's service! Bed was very comfortable. Decent pillows. Breakfast was one of the best I have had. Great yogurt machine. Wonderful coffee machine. Could fix a fancy cup of coffee. Lots of restaurants & grocery stores around the area. Will not go hungry. Have to go back & am staying there again. Try it out if you are in the area. You will be glad you did.

This hotel is laid out like a motel - you can drive up to yur room. Which can be helpful with baggage carried only a few feet rather than a loger distance.
