“Great value! Nice place!”
Great little hotel. Close to Downtown, walking distance to just about everything especially the beach and Ventura Pier. There are a couple breweries near by, Toppers Pizza and Transmission Brewing. Highly recommend. We stay here everytime we come to VTA.

“Happy dog owning traveler”
We traveled with a large dog and found the Vagabond a perfect place to stay. It is just a block from the beach and plenty of places to walk a dog. We especially liked the washable bedspread that was white and obviously clean! Also happy that the floors weren't carpeted and were obviously clean. … more

“Absolutely fine”
We stayed here after a packers cruise to the Channel Islands. It was a convenient location for us. Room was fine and the owner was kind enough to upgrade us to larger room.
