This is a nice hotel, not super upscale but better than a motel 6 for sure. Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean and there’s is a convenient restaurant with good food and drinks. There is also a quite large shop to buy beach stuff and clothing and a Starbucks for the morning. We are staying one night before a cruise and it was perfect. Would definitely stay here again. Also, we did have a junior suite which did face into the atrium but these windows are tinted and mirrored so no one can actually see inside of your room. The light from the atrium did come in during the night so if you’re sensitive to this I would bring an eye mask.

First and foremost, the staff was fantastic. Everyone we met was very friendly and welcoming. If I was rating the employees alone, this would be a 5/5 review. My family and I stayed at this hotel the night before a cruise in January of 2025. In addition to the great staff, the hotel was clean (albeit dated which we will get to shortly), close to the beach (about a block away and easily walkable), and directly across the street from Ron Jon (which anyone reading this probably already knows). The on-site surf store was decent too. There was plenty of parking in the garage. The positives end there. Sadly, this property is in need of a major upgrade. As a Lifetime Platinum Marriot Rewards Member, I obviously stay at a lot of Marriot properties, and Sheraton is my preferred brand within Marriot. Basically, Four Points is a sub brand within Sheraton that they originally created to give to their properties that are getting older and no longer up to the Sheraton standards. This property is no exception, but was in the worst shape out of any Four Points I have stayed at. The rooms were dated ... again I will credit them as being clean, but they were a throw back to 2004. Half of our lights and outlets didn't work. We had an interior room with a window to the atrium. It was dark and kind of depressing. Luckily, we only spent one night there, and spent as little time as possible in the room. You likely saw the photos of the beautiful swimming pool with the cave and waterfall feature! Yeah, it doesn't look like that in real life. First, we couldn't find it. We wandered around the hotel looking for it, only to find that it is tucked away in a dark corner *inside the parking garage*! It was bizarre! Like something straight out of a 1980s road trip movie or Hot Tub Time Machine when we all got ready for a swim and showed up to find the pool closed. .. but we wouldn't have used it anyways as it was tiny, dark, dingy, and depressing with cloudy green water, flickering lights, and tired loungers that were so worn out you would touch the ground the seat material was stretched out and sagging so much. Yeah, it was bad. Now ... I will say this may be dated information as literally the next morning a construction crew was there jackhammering out the pool deck, hopefully to do a full remodel ... But, I have found no photos of an updated pool area, and even if they did update it, I don't think resurfacing it will change the fact it is in the parking garage. The on-site restaurant was another huge letdown. Again the staff was great, and the pizza was pretty good. The facilities were tired, worn out, and dated, and the food other than pizza we had just wasn't that great. You may be thinking "but what about that sweet aquarium that's in all the promotional photos?". It was drained and the fish were replaced by a *poster of fish glued to the outside of the tank* ... Again like something right out of a comedy movie!!! I imagine it got to be too much to maintain and they had to give up on it, which is sad. However, when 2 of the 17 pictures on Marriott's website for the hotel feature photos of the aquarium in its prime, and the property is still being advertised as having an aquarium in the lobby (another thing that my 7-year-old was excited for) ... It's kind of deceiving. Hopefully refreshing and refurbishing the restaurant and restoring the aquarium are in future plans. The hotel offered parking during your cruise and a third-party run shuttle to the terminal which we did not utilize. The cruise parking at the hotel was more expensive than the cruise terminal garage, but would be convenient if you were planning on staying there both before and after your trip. I will say this much ... Our stay gave us memories and stories to tell. We can't help but to laugh about the whole experience. However, given the letdowns and worn out, tired, and dated condition of the property especially as relative to Marriott standards, I cannot give this more than a 3/5 ... And the great staff is what kept this from being a 2/5. Would I stay here again? No, I would not. It wasn't completely horrible though, and if updated rooms and decor aren't important to you and you don't plan on using the pool, it is a viable option for a night before a cruise. I would not recommend it however for a multi night Cocoa Beach vacation as there are far better options.
