“no complaints!”

LOOOOOOved this place. friendly, clean, comfortable. I am picky on clean towels and sheets, and I have no complaints. The view was fantastic. Easy access to restaurants, groceries and activities. would not hesitate to go back to this resort!!

“Better Than We Inspected - Would Definitely Recommend/Return”

Our goal was to visit St Augustine and not spend an arm and a leg. We used an RCI voucher for a week's vacation and didn't want an upcharge. We chose the Bluegreen Dolphin Beach Club, and it was a perfect fit. A little over an hour from St A it was right on the beach in Daytona Beach Shores on Hwy A1A. I loved the traditional motel "feel" with the benefit of the kitchenette. It had been recently updated and we learned that they had only opened in November after last year's hurricane. We were told before coming that the hot tub would not be functional, which was disappointing, but not a big deal. My husband had wanted a 3rd floor unit, and were granted a unit on the second floor. The ocean front views from our balcony were spectacular, and it also overlooked the rec area with pool, shuffleboard, tables & pavilion with grills. The steps to the beach were blocked off, but we were told we could access the beach from the side later in the week. The kitchenette with frig and stove looked new and worked perfectly for daily breakfasts. The Publix is a mile down the road and Crabby Joe's just a half a mile's walk. The staff were friendly and helpful, and when we asked to have the room cleaned on Wednesday after skipping Tuesday they kindly arranged. There were other restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance, which just didn't check them out. I felt very much at home and safe. We did enjoy touring the nearby lighthouse, as well as Dunlawton Sugar Mill Gardens.

“Yearly anniversary”

The resort just reopened a couple weeks ago! We’ve been coming here for approximately 17 years and they had to remodel all units from the last hurricane! The resort just reopened a couple weeks ago! We’ve been coming here for approximately 17 years and they had to remodel all units from the last hurricane! We had a few maintenance problems but each problem was handled quickly! The bed was comfortable and everything in the unit was good except lighting could have been better! The shower was good but the hot water was not very hot! The pool area was redone and the pool was excellent! The grills were new but you had to use a lighter to light them! Could use more lounges at the pool area! Hot tub was working and nice and they now have a clean restrooms there! The steps to the beach are blocked still but you have a ramp to get in to the beach! The crew that works there are very friendly and knowledgeable! Major complaints is I understand service dogs and their was two during are visit but they don’t belong in the hot tub and the people working there don’t tell them anything about it! Also I feel sorry for the cleaning crew that have to clean the room because they had the dog in the ocean bring it back into the room

From the outside, the hotel looks a little dated because the entry door of the rooms are exposed to the outside. While in the process of checking in, Olivia (receptionist) informed me that all of the rooms had been renovated on the inside which was a huge relief. Our room had a queen bed, stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and a roomy table to eat meals. The couch, lounging chair, and bed were comfortable and not run down. There's only 1 large tv and a awesome cable line with tones of channels to watch. Overall, the room bath, and kitchen were pretty clean. There is another lockable door that opens to the balcony which overlooks the pool, outdoor lounging area, and beach. Speaking of the beach, your literally right up on the beach /water. The only negative experience, is the fact that the pool area was closed and didn't reopen until our checkout day because they were assembling new outdoor furniture, tables, and umbrellas. I want to give a shout out to Olivia the front desk receptionist, she was able to pretty much answer every question we had regarding áreas of interest. Overall, entire staff made our stay pleasant.
