Great location close to many restaurants, shopping and less than 30 minutes to the beach. Only fault, the room walls as thin as heck and you hear everything going on next door, including the tv. If you are a light sleeper bring your ear plugs or white noise app. Lakes Park is great park to run, relax or go for a walk. Lots of birds as well so if you are a fan, bring your binoculars.

“Move in issues. Not enough compensation from Marriott Bonvoy”

The 2 desk clerks- Gabby and DeVaughn were friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel was lovely, clean and inviting, but unfortunately, our room experience there was an ordeal. At check in, Gabby kindly offered us an upgraded room, for which we were very grateful. After getting all settled at 4:00, we realized the TV did not work! My husband tried for 15 minutes to fix the issue. We were told that the maintenance person had left for the day. Gabby sent up a housekeeping person. She also could not get the channels to change. So another room was offered to us. We packed everything up: removed food from the refrig, clothes from the draws and closets, several suitcases,and moved to another room. My husband had suffered a stroke 6 months earlier, so this was an overwhelming move. Got settled in new room, and put on AC. After an hour we realized it was not blowing cool air! That day, it was over 90° outside. Called down to Gabby again who came up to our room and tried to fix it. She agreed the AC was not working and offered us a third room change on opposite side of hotel. It was a real challenge to move again...it was 8:00 PM before we were settled. We had not eaten dinner and were exhausted. I asked Gabby to please report everything in her notes to manager, and told her I'd speak to her in morning in hopes of receiving a free night stay to make up for this nightmare. In AM spoke to Mgr. Rebekah Williams. She said that the maintenance person had checked the TV that morning in first room, said TV was "fine" and also no problem with AC in second room! I told her we had 2 witnesses who had tried repairing issues and they agreed with us... She also said we had "thrown soda" on the carpet of first room! Said it had to be us....because no one else had been in the room. We could not believe it. Unless something inadvertently spilled, we were unaware of anything like this occurring. The manager agreed to giving us 15,000 Marriott points. She said that is all that Bonvoy customer relations would allow. I told her that was not nearly enough for a replacement stay. We had used and wasted our free night award worth 35,000. I pleaded for her to ask Marriott to re-issue our free night stay award for all of the trouble, but was told Bonvoy would only give us 15,000 points on our account. That won't get us anything as most rooms are now in the 30,000 plus range. Very disappointed as we have been Marriott Bonvoy members for many years. But we do appreciate the kindness and understanding of the 2 above mentioned desk clerks. Evidently the manager had to accept her company's terms, but shame on Bonvoy for not issuing a free night after all we went through. Upon returning home, I called Bonvoy customer service to report this matter. Was told I'd hear back within 3 days. Never heard. This Fairfield hotel itself was very pretty. Pool clean and well landscaped. Breakfast great and staff works very hard. Thank you Gabby and DaVaughn for your help.

Clean, nice and quite comfortable as I would expect a Fairfield Inn to be. Great location to the highway and well lit parking area with friendly and helpful front desk personnel. Price quite reasonable which included breakfast. Would be happy to stay there again.
