We have always loved staying at the Beach Club Villas. The ability to walk to EPCOT and Hollywood studios is the best perk of staying here. Also right near boardwalk and many food options. Our room this visit wasn’t as clean as usual so I needed to do a run through with chlorox wipes. However the location makes up for that.

“Would absolutely go back”

First time staying at beach club and as we are a dvc family using points, we stayed in the dvc villas building. The hotel is lovely with beautiful theming throughout. First time staying at beach club and as we are a dvc family using points, we stayed in the dvc villas building. The hotel is lovely with beautiful theming throughout. The dvc building felt special with wonderful public seating area and a peaceful pool away from the hustle of the main pool. It was an easy few minutes walk to the main building and the marketplace. Our room was perfect, so much space and spotless. All the staff were wonderful, kind and attentive. We loved our stay and would definitely go back. Especially because of the 5 minutes walk to Epcot international gateway.

The location on the quieter side of the Boardwalk can’t be beaten for being able to walk to Epcot and the Skyliner, and Hollywood Studios is also a pleasant stroll along the river, although this takes 25mins or so. We loved staying here recently! The location on the quieter side of the Boardwalk can’t be beaten for being able to walk to Epcot and the Skyliner, and Hollywood Studios is also a pleasant stroll along the river, although this takes 25mins or so. It’s also great for visiting some of our favourite Disney restaurants such as The Yachtsman and Trattoria al Forno. We stayed in a 1 bedroom villa and loved it - we had so much space and a view of the Epcot geosphere from our room, which was very cool to watch at night. Had we been a floor up I expect we’d have been able to see the fireworks over the tops of the trees. Nowhere in the resort felt like a long walk from anywhere, and the gathering spaces in the DVC wing are great - we played a few games of pool one day and table football by the quiet pool another. All of the staff members we encountered were helpful, friendly and welcoming. Would love to stay here again!

There were many features we enjoyed about this resort, and a few things that could be improved. One absolutely cannot beat the location of this property for access to EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and a wide variety of dining venues in the Beach Club/Yacht Club complex and on the Boardwalk side. While we've stayed at the Beach Club Resort several times, this was our first experience with a Beach Club villa. It suited the needs of our group (grandparents and two young grandsons) perfectly. The unit was attractively decorated in a "beachy" theme and very spacious with two generously sized bedrooms, each with a full bath and a separate living room, kitchen with full size appliances, breakfast bar and dining table with seating. Also, for those who need to wash clothes on vacation, there is a washer/dryer combination in one of the closets. Our room, 223, was on the second floor with a "resort view." In our case, it looked out onto the courtyard, not too bad for a resort view. Importantly, it was fairly quiet and not too far from the elevator or the Marketplace store at the Beach Club. (Even if you generally don't mind walking, you don't want to be assigned a unit far from the elevator and have to walk another half mile through the interior corridors at the Beach Club.) Since we rented directly from Disney (we're not DVC owners nor did we do a third party points rental), we paid the direct-from-Disney exorbitant price. This comes with two benefits: the cancellation policy is the same as a regular Disney hotel room and housekeeping is done each day. Housekeeping was prompt and responsive to our requests for extra paper products. They also left a cute elephant made of towels which our younger grandson especially appreciated. The unit is in need of updating, something that should be addressed in order to justify the price point. There were some aspects of the unit that were in disrepair, such as the hardware on some of the kitchen cabinets, and some of the cabinet doors did not close properly. The appliances were smaller and older than at the Polynesian Island Tower (where we spent the first couple of days of our stay). Also, the layout of the master bathroom is confusing and not as useful as it could be, with many doors. I believe the idea was to allow access to the master bathroom from the living area because there is a Murphy (pulldown) bed in the living room in case of an additional person or two. Basically, you have a split master bath with the first part having a tub open to the master bedroom and a vanity with storage, a sink, make-up/shaving mirror, plugs, blow dryer, and access to the small closet/safe and a second "private" full bathroom with a door with a shower, smaller sink with minimal storage, no make-up mirror, and a separate toilet room. With no storage or vanity to speak of, we only used this bathroom for the shower and the toilet. And the water in the shower was not consistently hot, often requiring 10 minutes to get warm enough for a hot shower. Fortunately, it did eventually adjust, but this was disappointing.
