Just stayed here the week of 7/22-7/28 with my two kids (17 & 20). We were touring schools in FL and felt the need to add some Disney days in between. We had previously stayed here back in February, which we really enjoyed, so I booked here again as it was budget friendly. As mentioned in an earlier post, we try to visit annually and usually stay Deluxe (mainly Poly). After two wonderful stays here, I have to honestly say that I truly enjoy POFQ so much more than the Poly. The rooms are immaculate, and I'm picky when it comes to cleanliness. The customer service was amazing on so many levels. Any requests I made, be it building location, daily housekeeping, extra towels or just a simple laundry bag, every cast member was so friendly and accommodating. Our AC wasn't working properly on arrival and within 20 minutes, maintenance had come and replaced the entire unit. Also, there was one late night my son wasn't feeling good and decided to take a walk to get fresh air. He went to front lobby to see if he could purchase something for his stomach. The ladies at the desk offered him water and pepto and just sat and talked with him awhile to make sure he was okay (mind you, this was 2 am in the morning). Every time they'd see him in passing during the remainder of the trip, they'd always say hi. I also love the size of this resort. It's so compact and if you're booked in a preferred building, you're literally steps from everything. It was nice waking up, walking two minutes and and having delicious beignets and iced coffee in the morning before hitting the parks. Overall, POFQ has become my new favorite resort, as It checks all the boxes for me. The only negative I can think of, is not having a balcony. Can't wait to return.

Just had a wonderful stay at POFQ with my wife and our two daughters, aged 7 and 4. It was our first time staying at a Disney resort, and we couldn't have picked a better hotel. It's small, quiet, not overly "Disney" everywhere you look, and a lovely place to relax away from the busy theme parks and water parks. Arrival On arrival, we were checked in instantly. I had ordered groceries and a stroller to be delivered, and both were waiting for us. Our room was ready on arrival, and Bell Services took all our luggage and groceries to our room while giving us a rundown of the hotel and where everything was. The service we received on arrival was exactly what we needed after a long travel day from Glasgow, Scotland. We had requested bed guards, which weren't in the room initially, but they arrived within 5–10 minutes of mentioning it at reception. Food We had the Table Service Dining Plan, and although this hotel doesn't have a table service restaurant, it more than makes up for it with a really good-quality quick-service restaurant. We regularly got the large pizza deal for two adult Quick Service credits, and it was always delicious and easily fed all four of us. It's also a great option at the end of a long park day while relaxing in bed with a Disney film on. The beignets need no review—everyone knows they're simply outstanding. A special mention also goes to the jambalaya, while the kids especially loved the chicken tenders. We used Boatwright's at Riverside Resort for one of our table service meals, and that was really nice too. Our resort mugs were included, and we used them all the time with the unlimited refills. Room We stayed in room 6129, a ground-floor room with a lovely garden and river view. There were lovely Princess and the Frog design touches throughout the room. Housekeeping always kept the room spotless, and we loved the little touches like Mickey-shaped towels and the way our daughters' toys were arranged on the bed. The fridge kept everything perfectly cold, the beds were really comfortable, and there was plenty of space for a family of four. The air conditioning unit was a bit noisy, but we were so tired every night that we never noticed it. The room's location was excellent too—close to reception, the restaurant, the pool, the bus stops, and the boat transport. Hotel We absolutely loved this hotel. Just walking around it felt like being in New Orleans. The atmosphere helped you relax after the madness of Disney World. The boat to Disney Springs is a lovely bonus. Having only one bus stop for all the parks made getting around much quicker and easier. If you're rope dropping, I'd recommend getting to the bus stop at least 15 minutes before the first bus is due so you're almost guaranteed to get on. Every member of staff we encountered was a credit to the hotel. I genuinely can't imagine staying anywhere else on a future Disney trip. Pool We only used the pool a couple of times, but it was a great size and never felt overly busy. The slide was a nice extra that the girls absolutely loved. There were always plenty of loungers and towels available, and the pool bar had a great selection of drinks.

This was our first time staying here. We split our trip by staying the first half at Contemporary then second half at FQ. Though we enjoyed both hotels, FQ was way better. Smaller grounds, easy parking for your assigned building, nice staff, good food. We had plenty of storage space in our room and appreciated having a ceiling fan, which I don’t think any other Disney resort has. The bathroom is very large and is separated by having 2 sinks outside the shower/toilet area. The beignets are soooo yummy! The pool in the evening seemed crowded. We didn’t take the boat to Disney Springs because one employee said it’s a 40 minute ride round trip, no thanks! Also we went to the bus stop at 0730 and their Magic Kingdom bus is also the same bus for Hollywood Studios!! Really, please have 2 seperate buses…..the line was too long and we never would have all fit (already a 30 minute wait time) so we said never mind, hoped in the car, drove and parked free and got in line for early rope drop before the resort bus arrived.!! Also we were told the Disney Springs bus for FQ does stops at Riverside too. We loved the resort and will return but will forgo using the boat and buses.
