We stayed here because we were attending a 3-day conference on site. We stayed for 5 nights. I had never stayed at a Drury before, but wow! I will in the future. What a great value with breakfast and the “kickback” dinner included. We made Mickey waffles every morning. The pool area and splash pad are wonderful, some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced throughout our entire stay, the meeting rooms were great, and the location is extremely convenient. I’m already looking into staying at other Drury locations for future trips, that’s how much we enjoyed ourselves.

“Large conference with many special needs children”

This hotel is lovely, clean, conveniently located, and easy to find. The staff are all friendly and professional from the front desk to the bar/food service to the housekeeping and event staff. I didn't meet one team member who did not appear happy and helpful. The full breakfast and evening kickback adds value and the convenience of not having to go or order out for every meal and the selection is adequate and varied. My king suite was comfortable, clean, and spacious with a large bathroom and pull out sofa and a lovely large window. It was at the end of a hall so that might have played into it, but I also found it very quiet (important and unusual in a busy Disney area hotel). I also love that the parking lot is very large so there is no need to circle or squeeze through a tiny portico or lot trying to find a place to park or load/unload. I didn't use the pool, but it and the splash pad appeared clean and well maintained. The meeting spaces were large and the event staff were efficient and helpful. Our snack package during the week was really good too with a popcorn, trail mix, and yogurt bar in addition to the cookies and brownies. I just have nothing bad to say except that I typically only get here once a year!

We had an exceptional stay at this hotel for 12 nights in June to July. We were a part of 5 who had requested 3 rooms close to each other on booking. Unfortunately a mix up with our payment not showing on their system meant these had not been reserved. However even though it was almost midnight the receptionist called a manager who immediately looked into this whilst we were able to access the free coffee and tea, which is available 24 hours a day so a great perk. He quickly found the payment had been made but could 3 rooms close together were not available. We accepted the 3 king rooms that were ready and were really pleased with the size and facilities in the rooms. Beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were very clean. The following day the manager who had checked us in, Shawn Kelly, sought us out and offered to move 2 of our rooms to the 15th floor where the third couple were staying. As we had unpacked and we were happy with our current rooms we told him this wasn't necessary, he offered a room upgrade for myself but again we said this wasn't necessary and chatted about our plans for the night. On returning to the hotel late that night, we found a card apologising for the mix up in rooms and little goodie bags of treats. The manager then personally delivered a gift basket with a photo frame, water and more edible treats to my daughters room as he had been informed this was a special stay to celebrate her birthday. All the staff at this hotel are fantastic. Whenever we returned, we were greeted with waves from reception staff and the manager would greet us by name. The bar staff at the free kick back bar always had time to chat and ask about your day even when busy. We utilised the free breakfast most mornings and found there was a really good selection of food to suit all our tastes. We always like to eat out on an evening so did not try much of the kickback food but it did all look good. Food was constantly being brought out so everything was fresh. The free drinks were all branded and again there was a great selection to suit all 5 of us. Being able to fill a bottle with a soft drink or grab a coffee to take out saved us a lot of expense. We couldn't have asked for more when it came to facilities. The gym, laundry and arcade were all open 24 hours a day. The 2 members of our party who used the gym said it was well stocked and very clean. The washers and dryers were easy to use. We spent some time at the pool which was heated. We always found loungers or chairs were regularly available at different times of day. It was open from 8am to 11pm so lots of opportunities to use it around park visits. Free towels were readily available and having a pool bar was a nice touch. We used the free shuttle busses to all the Disney theme parks, there was a regular service and a weekly timetable was provided. They even ran to accommodate people attending after hours events as well as early entries. We were always able to get a seat on these. When returning after a rainy afternoon they even provided pool towels if required by people at the front of the bus. We were all really sad to leave this property and should we return to Florida again, this would be our first choice of hotel. We have stayed in Orlando many times at both on and off site properties but found the Drury offered the most perks and had the friendliest staff. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble, on chatting 1 day we told the manager we needed to get some glue to fix a pair of broken Disney ears. However we did not need to buy it as he provided the glue for us. We honestly could not have asked for better customer care. We have already recommended this hotel to our friends.
