The Fairfield by Marriott Inns & Suites Orlando at Flamingo Crossings Town Center offers a great stay for Disney Theme Park-goers without breaking the bank. For starters, the Fairfield at Flamingo Crossings is located at the western edge of the Disney theme parks/properties. It is not incredibly far by any means (roughly 7 miles) from the Magic Kingdom, with Animal Kingdom being the closest park. One of the main questions in this regard is if a shuttle service is available between the Fairfield to the Disney parks. The answer is yes - with some conditions/limitations. The shuttle service is contracted out to Florida Bus Service. The shuttle is only available at certain times, departing as early as 7:30am in the morning (with 2 other departure times depending on the park), with the latest return time being 10:15 (again depending on park). Although it's free, you have to book your reservations/trips online (which can be made 48 hours in advance). Personally, this did not entirely work for us and our trip plans. There is plentiful parking (additional fee) at the Fairfield with spaces at the front and side of the entrance, which is then supplemented with a large parking deck. The design and layout of the reception and first floor seemed logical and sensible. As you walk into the Fairfield, you will be greeted with the reception on the left that is paired with a small store for light hygiene items and snacks. The open concept and free flowing space offers a spacious feel. There are plentiful seats to lounge in this area as guests await transport between destinations. Walking just beyond this area, you will find the dining area which has plentiful seating. During breakfast, this area becomes a self-service buffet that extends beyond the light continental fare offerings - with Mickey Mouse waffle stations (with regular, lemon-flavored, and gluten-free batter), fresh hot cereal (oatmeal), juice fountain, and a coffee/tea bar. Breakfast is complimentary with your stay and honestly, the waffle stations and breakfast make the stay at the Fairfield worth it. Meanwhile, there is also a neat robotic ice-cream machine, a decent gym, and an unisex bathroom on the same level. There is a pool and splash park which seemed to be running in January. The rooms are fairly standard - it was rather spacious for our family of four. Aside from the poor drainage of the bath tub, the room suited our needs and stay. Location-wise, the Fairfield is in a great location. We opted to drive to Hollywood Studios and Disney Springs on the second day of our trip which was a fairly easy drive from the Fairfield. In the immediate area and within walking range, there are a handful of restaurants along with a small Target. Overall, the Fairfield by Marriott Inns & Suites Orlando at Flamingo Crossings is a great stay if you have your own transportation.

The hotel was fine, although the beds are a little hard and the pillows are not exactly comfortable with the water pressure being very low and the AC that constantly shuts off in the middle of the night making you sweat because the motion detector cuts off the. The breakfast wasn’t so great. The eggs were not even edible. They were some dried out powder so if you’re into the eggs, forget it overall I would only shop this property by price.
